I recently stayed at Lakeside Motel in Prince Edward County, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location right on the lake is stunning, and the rooms with fireplaces are incredibly comfortable—perfect for a cozy stay. The property is close to some fantastic restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, with a lively atmosphere at night. The amenities were top-notch too, with a relaxing sauna and jacuzzi to unwind. They also offer coffee, which is a nice touch.

What made the experience truly memorable was the manager, Brian. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel so welcome. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Lakeside Motel is a personable and cozy spot to stay in PEC. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I had dinner here at their restaurant on the water and had a lovely evening. We shared a few appetizers to start and were shocked by how big they were so we actually didn't end up ordering any mains lol. The warm olives and fried calamari were delicious and definitely for those that enjoy a salty snack! The servers were very sweet but a little slow as it was an extremely busy Saturday when we went - so I think they were just spread a little thin. Also try to make sure you have a reservation if visiting on a weekend as there was a big line-up/waitlist for available tables.

The service onsite was very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are not soundproof. We were there on weekdays where the motel was not full, it was always us and one other guest. For some reason they decided to put all occupied rooms right next to each other even though there were so many other empty rooms. You could hear anytime someone walked around in the room next to you.
Another thing, as a light sleeper the fireplace in the room woke me up every time time it turned on and was turning off. So I woke up about 5-7 times both nights.

The hot tub on site is not free for guests and comes at an additional cost which was disappointing since the room already cost quite a bit.

We were there during the Fall so we paid about the same for less access to their amenities than guests during the summer for more access to amenities. Their pool and on site restaurant/bar were all closed.

The area the motel is located in is walkable so it is very convenient which I do appreciate. That being said, it is a small town so everything is closed very early.

Overall, the service was good and I do believe the spot is beautiful by the water, with a modern interior design however I do not believe it is worth the price that I paid. I think if they were to offer more services and soundproof the rooms better, perhaps the price could be justified.

We bought a day pass for their pool and it was perfect! The facilities were easy to access and the staff was friendly. The waitress that came around the pool was great, making sure had everything we needed. We also had lunch on their patio, which was delicious. Overall, this is an awesome place for day by the pool.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Lakeside Motel! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff made me feel incredibly welcome with her warmth and friendliness. My room was both spacious and cozy, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view from the restaurant – truly a sight to behold while enjoying a meal. The outdoor pool was another favorite feature, offering a great place to relax and unwind. I would come back here over and over again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Wow. The perfect getaway. We had an amazing time at Lakeside. Beautiful, cozy rooms and stunning grounds with a gorgeous pool you could lounge by all day. The staff is incredible, so friendly and make you feel so welcomed. Amazing bar/restaurant and seating by the water, and fire pits to sit by in the evening. Great location, waking distance from some cute shops cafes, Wellington Beach and close by to some incredible wineries. We will be back!

We ate at the restaurant and I have to say we were shocked at the quality of food after hearing great things. Over priced and very bland but the view and vibes were great. Maybe we are foodies but nothing was impressive. Definitely need some menu changes and teach the chefs some tricks. We got the Calamari, 3 burgers which were extremely under whelming and even the truffle fries weren't great. Broccoli was the best item we had. Cocktails were nice. No Local wine which was confusing considering where we were.
