While our story is absolutely positive, but perhaps a bit more drawn out… we were given a 2008 Hot Spring spa one jet pump was out when we got it, Ultra Modern got the job of replacing it and installing a new cover.

There were unfortunately, some twists and turns mostly involving defective replacement parts and an understandable human element as well as supply chain issues so the whole thing took a while, no harm really since summer is sort of an off season. Ultra Modern folks were always professional, up front with problems and were honest and diligent, they never gave up and hung right in there and got it done! These are good people!

On time, friendly, safety is foremost. Happy I had them come out. They found heat sensor issue. Recommended to keep hot tub off from the breaker until they could come back out.

Espen has been nothing short of amazing, I thought my pool was a lost cause after not opening the year prior and was taken over by algae. I was ready to drain and refill Espen talked me out of it and helped me bring my pool back (still a work in progress) but he alone saved me the better part of $3,000+. This is my 2nd year actually running my pool and he has dumbed down the science so that even a toddler could understand. I now have a far better understanding of running a pool vs any of the advice I've been given by other pool stores, most stores just try to shove products at you. They people at Ultra tell you what is the issues are and what we are going to do to fix them. Ultra has definitely earned my bussiness for life.

My father-in-law paid for a new pool pump to be installed. They were scheduled for Wednesday but arrived Tuesday without the pump. The service tech realized the job would require extra steps and my husband approved the extra charges. The tech was to return on Friday but happened to be out sick. No phone call as several service department staff were out. When I spoke to Jason, the retail manager he let me know Lucas is scheduled to come out on Saturday but they don’t schedule times. The General Manager was there, Chris. Truly sad that Chris didn’t step up and call us to let us know no one was coming today. Instead we had to call to find out no one was coming. My mother in law passed last week. We started this process prior to mom’s passing last week. We wanted the pool open so we can bring our family together for Father’s Day- the way mom would have wanted. I agree with President and Owner, Rita Rowlen, water is therapy. Our family could use that now- especially when it’s a service we have already paid for during a time we are grieving. I hope I can follow up with a positive outcome.

UPDATE - I had only given one star but now I have given all five! Lucas and a coworker showed up this morning and spent 2.5 hours installing and addressing unexpected electrical issues with our brand new pump. They could have charged us more but did not. Lucas and coworker were extremely polite and offered great customer service. Thank you Ultra Modern for stepping up and rectifying the situation. That is something we don’t often see today. Our family is happy to keep giving you the business!

John Harris and his Ace came through and did a fantastic job. closing down the pool , while here they gave me a few Suggestions on how to keep the cover from blowing and ripping during the winter season.. They worked well together and make a great team..thanks again

Very un professional. Nothing is constant service on your pool is shotty and they add on services to your bill that weren't done their constantly loseing the keys to my property..SMH.
