Great water park for children up to 13-ish. It’s not huge, but just right. There is a sprayground, 1 medium slide (height limit 48”) and a large pool which is sectioned off in two. One side for kiddies to swim in (3ft) and the other to do laps with lanes. You must do laps in the lanes but there is a section to the far end that you can just swim around in that’s about 6’3” deep. Enough seating area for the size of the park with a few umbrellas, first come first serve basis. A large pavilion that you can rent out for parties. There is a concession stand, but I am not sure what they sell and the prices as it was closed when we went. I did see one vending machine by the bathrooms that had water and sodas. There are also free lifejackets that you can use for the children. The spray ground is not big, but just the right size for children to have fun in with lots of water spraying everywhere and little slides for the children to enjoy. The water areas are fenced off to stop people from jumping in. Lifeguards on duty and sure that you adhere to the rules of the park. look at their website for park hours as they do close for an hour during the day, and admission fees. It’s no more than $4.50 depending on if you are a Tamarac resident or not. Plenty of parking and in a nice area. There is also a decent size playground outside that children can enjoy as well. We went on a Sunday around 2:30 and there was hardly anyone there. If you want to enjoy a day with your children, nieces or nephews and not have all the hustle and bustle of a crowded park, then this is the place for you.!

I bring my son for years to this water park and it was fun for him.
I started to come by myself last two years to swim at the Olympic pool on the weekends and lately , they put any excuse to close it .
I am not coming back, have to find another more reliable water park.

Today I had the most amazingly wonderful experience at the Aquatic center. I have Ankylosing spongelitis and avascular necrosis in my hip and so I started doing the water aerobics class. First the ladies of the class were so welcoming and kind everybody welcomed me, introduced themselves, the instructor made sure that I didn't fall behind. The class was challenging but it was very, very good. When I arrived in a wheelchair, cause I don't walk well, we were greeted by a young lady, Olivia, who offered a water Walker to get into the pool. She actually walked beside me until I was safely in and all the way in the class. At the end of the class, as I was struggling to get out of the pool, feeling as if I weighed 10,000 pounds, here comes Olivia again this time with 3 other young people (I regret to say I did not get their names). One came with a water wheelchair and helped me to get out of the pool; another came alongside with the Walker to help me to stand up; and then another was there with my wheelchair to help me to get back to where I needed to go. They were kind, efficient, professional. It was altogether the most fulfilling and wonderful experience I've ever had going to any kind of facility. I want to publicly thank them because what could have been a potentially humiliating experience for me turned out to be wonderful.

Great place to take the kids the slide is not to big but it's not small either they have a playground that has a water park inside the playground for the kids as well and a big pool for the adults the area is perfect size so you don't have to worry about not seeing where your child is there is only one way in and one way out and the tickets are dirt cheap. I recommend this place

It was fun. Great for kids! We were there for a birthday party. It's not that big of a place but they have a big slide and also a spot where you can practice your swimming. There is a little kids water area.

We've visited a few times for different events and our kids have had fun. The real reason for the 5 star rating is for 1 person in particular, Mr. Ransom (I'm unsure of the exact spelling of his name, so I apologize for that). We've had the kids in swim lessons for a few weeks and he has shown amazing care and compassion for every one of the kids in the class. He makes sure that everyone has an equal amount of lesson time and makes it fun! Really appreciate his time with our kids!

Awesome small pool and small splash zone for the little ones. Lifeguards are very attentive, staff is super friendly and helpful, beautiful rental pavilion ($75 for 3 hours) right next to kids splash zone so a perfect party spot for birthdays.

Affordable. I paid $11 for 3 people, non-resident fee. Although it is posted not to, people bring stuff to eat and drink inside their coolers 🤷🏼‍♀️. I liked it. There was only one problem. It is posted that the closing time is 6pm, but they will start announcing on the megaphones at 5:30 that you only have 15 min. Left to enjoy the pool.
