My wife and I are very happy we went with Ultimate pools by Fetter for our pool. We talked to a couple of other companies and were impressed by Fetter because they didn’t try to talk us into anything we didn’t want. They were patient with us during our design phase as we started out wanting a spa and water feature and then changing our minds to just getting a pool. At no time did they try to talk us into into getting a particular pebble finish or plaster finish for the interior. Ross was straight forward about what he thought would work best for us and told us the pros and cons for every decision we made. He was great at explaining the process and what to expect each step of the way. Once the pool was complete, they have been great at answering all of our questions about pool chemistry too! We would definitely recommend using them to put in your pool! We went with a French Gray plaster and love the way the water color turned out.

Ross and crew were awesome! We absolutely love our pool! DJ has been amazing, answering all of our questions promptly and taking time to really explain the maintenance process after learning I am going to try to maintain the pool without a pool service. We haven't had a chance to swim in it yet (let me rephrase that, my kids did a polar bear plunge when the pool was finished in December), but we are looking forward to an amazing summer!

We absolutely love our pool done by Ultimate Pools by Fetter! Ross is by far the most knowledgeable pool contractor out there and we had quotes from 6 different contractors. Ross went above and beyond researching laws to allow us to change our backyard, that other contractors wanted myself to do. He is definitely a step a head of the game at all times. I highly recommend this company to any one thinking about building a pool. Ross was with us a 100% of the way and a phone call away at all times if needed. We will have a lifetime of memories in our backyard due to what Ross created for us.

This may be the only time I would give a contractor 5 stars. We had 0 issues with this company, they were always on it and easy to communicate with. The pool came out beautifully & they were fairly priced.

Our experience with Ultimate Pools by Fetter was wonderful. Not only did we get a beautiful pool but a vision for a beautiful backyard. Ross is professional and leaves nothing to surprise. We look forward to working with them on our next project...a spa!

Part 3: 4. Firepit: Chuck mentioned in the design phase that our sunken fire-pit would cost an additional 15K. Feeling we could do the work cheaper, we agreed to do this ourselves. Fast forward to 1 week before plaster goes in (literally the last leg of a pool install), we brought up the pool wall and how it was uneven, we asked that they cut that gunite back so the firepit could go there. They couldn't because of the shotty job that was done for the plumbing lines. (see pic). After multiple requests and unresolved solutions with Sug we were finally given the opportunity to meet with the owner. He was just as defensive and condescending as his team, and continued to lie that his team knew nothing about the sunken in firepit. (mind you, the team moved the plumbing lines, chuck gave us a quote, we have texts, etc). No resolution was ever given and we aren't able to finish the sunken in the firepit per their shotty job.

5. Water Line: My waterline was re-routed from the side of the house to the backyard for everyone to see. (see pic)

6. My pool equipment doesn't isn't at the same elevation as the pool. It's sunken down.

After all is said and done, I'd highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. It's not worth the headache

Such a terrible disappointment, our dream yard in our dream house scarred by amateur hour. We tried extremely hard to to allow ample opportunities for grievance reconciliation with seemingly no way move forward. We have attempted to speak with management as well as the company owner, only to wish we hadn't. I have never felt so disrespected, or belittled, by condescending contractor talk. We are in love with our new pool by Fetter!! Everyone who worked on the project was very respectful. All work was clearly projected step by step. We couldnt be more happy with our choice to go with this company ..highly recomended !!
