Basic sports facility. Lacks some essential machines at the gym although it’s been renovated recently. Pool could use some very serious cleaning and opening times are quite limited. Staff is very friendly and the price is quite affordable specially for central london.

Been taking my two kids here for swimming lessons for over 5 months now, weekly lessons, twice a month you’re guaranteed their lessons will get cancelled on the day- no prior notice, just under an hour before they’re due to begin in most cases.
The swimming lessons aren’t managed very well at all! None of the children in that class have moved up a stage, no updates from swimming instructors on when either, when lessons got cancelled they used to issue refunds without any issues until Rhonda started managing and it all fell apart. Weeks and weeks go by without any refunds, no reply to emails, no reply to phone calls, given the runaround by staff who all have a different spin on things when you finally get through! If you go in there’s apparently no managers available, does this Rhonda even exist?! We get told she’s the only one that can issue refunds yet she never seems to be in, never replies to emails calls etc
Absolute shambles. Completely mismanaged. Other parents whose children attend swim lessons seem to be having the exact same issues too, and the funny thing is, they admit to other people having the same problems yet do absolutely nothing to solve them! 3 weeks and counting and still getting absolutely nowhere. Any other business triggers refunds automatically without people having to nag them to death! Cancel your memberships and move elsewhere like i’ve done, save yourselves the hassle of dealing with non existent managers, and swim lessons that don’t seem to advance. Contact your bank for assistance they were great in dealing with them directly.

Joined last month and have been really impressed so far. Great price for the area for membership and the options available are great. Mainly use the swimming pool, which is always well set out with lanes. The gym is small, but there are an adequate amount of machines available and is not too busy when I have visited. Staff are friendly and the free towels for members are an added bonus!

First time attending this leisure centre and I really wish I could go back in time and book somewhere else. I booked for a family swim but unfortunately my partner wasn't able to come into the pool as there's literally nowhere to park! The place is in such a horrible location and you wouldn't even find it unless you ask people walking by. It is in the middle of an estate with loads of flats around it. There's steps to get down to it which is not ideal when you have a pram.
We were late due to not being able to find it so instead of having 50 minutes in the pool we had about 20 minutes which made my kids really upset. For the actual leisure centre itself, upon arrival, we were told by the receptionist that the lights in the female changing room wasn't working so we walked into darkness and I am talking serious darkness. No light what's so ever. I have never seen darkness like that before. Imagine changing yourself, and 3 small children in complete darkness! not the one! they didn't even try to come up with a solution or even offer some money back for the inconvenience which I think is so wrong. It was just another thing on the list to ruin the experience. The actual pool itself was semi warm and the changing room which is the only positive I can say. It's fair to say that we won't be going back again as we didn't enjoy our family day and was such a waste of time and money. (Oh and also I had to pay for my 6 month old and 2 year old and 6 month old nephew. I'm not sure why they wasn't free like everywhere else. Online says juniors and doesn't give you the option to add in infants like everywhere else. It should come up as 'discount 5'. I had to call up first and the receptionist wasn't even sure himself and then just said maybe it's because of the area and they don't get anybody under junior year and the babies and 2 year old are classed as juniors. lol)

The sooner someone efficient takes over this gym, the better. The raw material isn't too bad - the swimming pool, and weights room are okay if basic. But the whole place is demoralised and depressing. Staff are mixed - some good, some bad - but seem untrained. On the day of writing, for example, two staff let me through for a swim and I changed, only to find that the pool was closed. I was the only punter. On another occasion I was summarily given a charge on the website which meant that I couldn't book through the website for ages. Not that that would have made that much difference as the website is like a relic from the early days of the internet. No wonder Fusion is failing. Given its location it could be an ace boutique gym. PLEASE - someone rescue the Golden Lane gym and bring it back to full potential.

Good pool but gym is substandard. Nice staff but poorly managed... equipment is old and not quickly replaced if broken.
Often no soap or no towels in the showers or cups to drink from.
Changing rooms are unbearably hot in the summer.
Not even worth the money as a cheap option
