We did our homework and we vetted several companies. Once we met Captain Harry, we knew that we had the right team. We took one look at his website with all the testimonials (in addition to our family members that recommended him) and I felt 100% trust in his company. I had so many friends that had had their pool done or refurbished and none were able to recommend who they used. Meanwhile, those that used Captain Harry and his team could not have been happier and were quick to recommend him.
I knew it was a big investment but in the end he proved our decision was correct! Not only did he begin to work promptly, but he kept to the schedule (weather permitting). He gave advance notice when arriving to the property which was an added bonus. His professionalism and oversight of his workers was exactly the peace of mind we needed. After the job was completed and PAID we noticed a small problem. This is when they undoubtedly proved we chose the very BEST! Captain Harry looked into the problem until he found the solution. He could’ve abandoned us or not given us priority like most would’ve (after being paid). Instead, he didn’t shake our hand and walk away until he delivered the pool he promised. Thank you Captain Harry! In short, he walks on water!!!💦

I would like to start off by saying that the owner Harry is a really meticulous, reliable, and trustworthy person. I discussed all my plans with him to assemble my backyard oasis and not only did he bring my vision to fruition, he explained all the different ways we could enhance it. We went with all the equipment he recommended and everything has been performing optimally. They took care of all the automation, water features, salt system, and color led lighting. My backyard was originally very dated and seldomly used. Now my family and friends come over and we have a blast thanks to Harry and the Hi-tech pools team for constructing a masterpiece.

Captain Harry has been excellent to work with. I have never worked with a contractor that has been so accessible; from our initial conversation to the completion of the work; Harry either always picked up my calls or returned the missed ones promptly (within minutes). Throughout the entire process, he constantly kept me informed on current activities and explained the next steps in great details. While I do not aspire to be a pool builder, I welcomed this knowledge transfer that helped me, not only appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this build but also, understand how to care for my new pool. The job took a little longer given the pandemic but, even with materials being scarce and prices increasing uncontrollably, Captain Harry never attempted to renegotiate or discuss adjustment to the contract as other contractors I am working with are doing. HOW I DECIDED ON THE RIGHT CONTRACTOR

Finding the right person to build my dream pool is like creating a great dish, you start out with a good recipe and quality ingredients. I did the usual research online and asked neighbors who had pool built or had work performed on their preexisting pools. I also obtained different proposals from several of the top rated companies. As I had some preliminary work done on my backyard before the construction of the pool, such as burying the electrical cables, I took the opportunity to ask the professionals how they felt about the different pool companies. One person kept coming up as the best quality and most responsive of all the pool companies, Harry Fritz of Harry's Hi-Tech Pools. In conclusion, the combination of reviews and suggestions made the choice easy for me, Harry.

PLANS AND CONSTRUCTION

From the beginning Harry eloquently communicated the scope of the plans, from how the pool would look down to the timeline of the construction and the sequence of payments to me made as work progressed. There was no ambiguity. At one point I remember having a challenging time conceptualizing how it would all look in relationship to the yard. Harry immediately came over and to alleviate any concerns he sprayed painted the outline of the pool and its parts on the ground. How great was that? I appreciated the action he took as well as the fact he went out of his way to assist me in securing the multiple permits required from the City of Coral Gables that were not directly related to the construction of the pool. I always felt I was not alone as I worked with the different officials thanks to his support.
The actual construction began as promised and the construction teams that worked on the different parts of the pool, from excavation, plumbing, electrical and tiling were all exceptional. All true professionals, friendly and all times adhering to the timeline Harry had proposed. I cannot say enough how great the construction of the pool went.

OUTCOME

Harry made a long time dream of mine become a reality and in so doing he exceeded my expectations.
He always remained available to my multiple calls throughout the process of building the pool and even when he was with another client he would promise to call back and he always did! There was never having to leave a message on a voicemail with Harry. If that does not say a lot in our times I do not know what does.
I love my pool and I am very proud. My neighbors and even passers by that have seen it agree it looks great. I really believe I received a fair price for the quality of construction and services Harry provided me. Thank you Harry for your suggestions which indeed prove to be just right for how I enjoy my pool. There is no substitute for experience and you clearly have it. Simply thank you for a great job done!

Captain Harry's High Tech pools well exceeded all of our expectations. Harry's professionalism and attention to detail surpassed anything that we could of imagined. The different teams that he uses were always very professional and also detailed oriented. Our project was completed within 60 days with all permits passing on first inspection.
