I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Hiatus Spa on October 15, 2024. While I was looking forward to a relaxing and rejuvenating visit, my initial interaction with the front desk staff left a very negative impression.

As a first-time visitor, I expected a warm welcome and a brief orientation to the spa facilities. Unfortunately, I was neither greeted with enthusiasm nor provided with any guidance. I was simply directed to the treatment area without any introduction to the spa's amenities or services. Had it not been for other patrons, I would have been totally lost.

Furthermore, the empty tea container and no clear way to distinguish which cups had been used nor an offer of other refreshments in the waiting area was unexpected. It would have been a thoughtful touch for guests to know there were other options to enjoy a comforting beverage while they awaited their appointments.

Despite these shortcomings, I want to commend Camilla, my massage therapist, and Hannah, my esthetician, for their exceptional service. Their professionalism and dedication to providing a relaxing experience were truly commendable.

I believe that a welcoming and informative introduction is crucial for creating a positive first impression and fostering customer loyalty. By addressing these concerns, Hiatus Spa can continue to provide the high-quality service that its patrons expect.

I hope that you will take the necessary steps to improve the front desk experience for future guests.

I visited Haitus on 8/17. Received an email that same day asking “how we did.” I sent an email with my not-so-great experience directly to them instead of posting on google. Almost 4 days later & I’ve heard nothing. Apparently they are not concerned about their customers experiences.
My opinion is don’t waste your money on an $80 Zero Gravity Pedicure when you can get a much better one at any local nail salon for $40. From the moment we arrived it felt like no one knew what was happening. The people who did the pedicures were nice but beyond that this was nothing even close to a spa experience. First time here & nothing was explained to us, they just sit you in a chair, soak your feet in some warm water and paint your toes.
If you are visiting this area or looking for a real spa experience- this is not it!
