My husband & I got married here on 10/12/24. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Todd was amazing to work with. Always willing to go above & beyond to answer questions & help in anyway possible. He was also awesome as our DJ!

Beautiful Venue. But HORRENDOUS Manager. My sister had her wedding here this past Saturday and TODD WILLIAMS, the “manager” completely ruined her wedding. By the looks of the previous reviews I have seen, my family and I are not the first ones to have a horrible experience with this so called “manager”. Which is unfortunate because the venue is beautiful but definitely NOT worth dealing with Todd.

This is a STAFF rating. I inquired about a day pass since I am traveling from AL & was told that there is such a thing (great). However, the man I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude. He seemed confused about the fact that a woman could be named Tyler and was borderline hostile on the phone. Very weird. I have never had an experience like this one before lol. I usually don’t leave reviews but he was so odd that I felt I should.

(As you can see in his response, he is quite rude and poorly attempting to be condescending. I only said my name by way of introduction and then he immediately got hostile on the phone. Sounds like a good ole boy… white cap and all).

Played in a disc golf event this weekend at this beautiful property. The staff, especially Shay, were just wonderful! Karaoke, live band, good food and drinks; couldn't have been a better venue.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Lawrence Plantation this October! My now husband, mother and I looked at multiple venues in the Rome area, and this was the perfect fit for us. The venue is beautiful-it overlooks what used to be a golf course, with rolling hills and beautiful trees in the background. The plantation house is a stunning space, is classic and can decorated in any way you choose, it doesn’t hurt that it has a huge wrap around porch that is perfect for an indoor/outdoor experience! We decided to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the golf course with the hills in the background. We had a cocktail hour to follow which was held on the porch and the back lawn leading up to the house. The dinner and dancing was inside, and the built in bar was great to have! We had 170 guests who comfortably fit in the reception room, we had a huge dance floor and still had room to spare for extra tables if needed. The manager, Todd, was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. We exchanged many emails and phone conversations, and never left with a question unanswered. Todd was very accommodating, met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, and made sure everything was executed well the day of the wedding. We had multiple guests rave about the venue, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We highly recommend this venue and wouldn’t have changed a thing about our big day! Thank you so much to Todd and Lawrence Plantation!

I can't even begin to say how amazing our wedding was at Lawrence Plantation! Todd was the absolute best at helping us plan every detail before the wedding, and helping us keep things on track the day of. Every single on of our guests were amazed at the beautiful views this venue has. The reception area is large and stunning! The drinks - even better!! There were some things we forgot or didn't think of the day of, and Todd jumped right in to help. He made sure that the grooms/bridal parties were taken care of and checked on us often. Right before I walked down the aisle, he stood with me and kept me from being too nervous. If you are looking for a venue for any kind of event, this is the place to have it! We 100% recommend Lawrence Plantation and will definitely be planning more events here in the future!❤️
