Don't stay here. Unless you enjoy weed, yelling and dogs . It was literally the worst to be honest. We didn't have lights in our bathroom the only thing we had was an LED light. The tiles on the bathroom floor were lose and broken. Customer service didn't seem to care too much about what their tenants did. Their breakfast is cereal and pastries (if they even put it out)

I’m not one to write reviews but my stay here almost requires me to write one. Let’s start with the pros.
1.) Decent location to downtown SA.
And now on to the cons.
1.) Our room’s door handle for broken and our key card wouldn’t work.
2.) The tv in our room stopped working.
3.) Had to switch rooms in the middle of our stay to another room where the tv also didn’t work.
4.) Breakfast bar has expired coffee creamer. It went bad on 10-6-24 (I stayed 11-28 thru 12-1)
5.) Both rooms we stayed in had a sort of musty smell.
6.) The doors to the stair case don’t lock so hypothetically anyone could just walk into the hotel. Also on the first floor level there was two trash bags full of dirty clothes and trash.

Where to start. Room is nothing like the photos from Choice hotels website. The facility has not been maintained. Hot water. A/c, phones, all had issues. This place should be shut down completely. I will be reporting issues to the city of San Antonio for future investigation.

I would not stay here again. Room had a strong ammonia smell to try seal the smell of a dirty room. The hallway smelled of weed. There was an odor in the elevator. I had booked and paid ahead of time, so we just stayed. Will not be going back. I was there mid July of 2024.

The front desk lady was fantastic- that was the only good thing there was. Our first room had a strong chemical odor and it had me coughing and wasn’t going to work. She moved us to the other end of the hall and the smell wasn’t as bad, but very musty which is worrisome for me since my allergies were really bothering me. I coughed all night and it was not restful. The room was lacking furniture as you can see in the photos, and the towels washcloths and hand towels were thread bare. I wish I would have snapped photos but didn’t. Behind the bathroom door were tiny dead bugs and I got up to potty in the middle of the night to watch alive bugs crawl up the wall in the bathroom. It felt dirty and honestly the coughing I was doing has me a bit worried about the possibility of mold in the air. I also forgot to get a photo of the back of the bathroom door where it looked like a soda or coffee had been splashed. Will not be staying there again even if the price is low- and we’d paid in advance to secure a lower rate, and it was non refundable which is totally unacceptable.

Should be called low quality Inn.

The only positive thing to say is that I've stayed at worse hotels.

The bad... just about everything else.
The room smelled so bad we had to ask for a new one. But the second one also smelled, as did our travel companions and the hallways in general. The elevators didn't work. The pool was empty. The televison didnt work at first.. The location was shady and the front desk guy told us not to walk outside after dark.... did I mention large stains on the rug inside the room.

It just felt gross. I didn't want to walk barefoot anywhere. And everytime you walk down the hall random doors were left open.
At one point room service left our door open while we were gone. Came back to our door left open.

Overall I would rate it 1.5 for the cheap price. But I would never come back with my family.

The way they put the bed is terrible, there was an iron frame sticking out, and they hide by the sheet, I just kicked it and got injured on my ankle when I went on the bed.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was cereal, toast and coffee.
