The quality of the food and drinks were okay considering the happy hour pricing. However, after reviewing my receipt from last night I’m noticing so many hidden fees that weren’t disclosed and tacked onto my bill without my knowledge.

We were automatically charged a 3% service charge and an 18% large party auto gratuity even though we were only a party of 3. I wasn’t aware of these fees when I asked to close out my tab and so I added an extra tip when I paid. Had I known I was already paying 21% in service fees, I wouldn’t have added any more to the tip. I feel like I should have had an opportunity to see my itemized bill before I was asked to pay because our total for food and drinks before tax was $65. However my final bill rang in at $99 because of all the extra fees that were added on.

If it was really amazing food and service then I could justify the cost, but I feel like you could get way more value for your money at another bar or restaurant in the area. I also don’t think it’s right we were charged as a large party when there was only 3 of us. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Update from October 2024: I came back and should have listened to my own advice, the food is not work it lol it’s always a miss, come for the vibes and maybe a beer or too while you watch the game but the food aid overpriced and trash. NEVER AGAIN

2023: guess I just wouldn’t go back. Not a good experience, the chicken wings were supposed to be crispy but weren’t. First time they had no sauce on them so I had to send them back and ask for them to be a little bit more crispy with buffalo sauce. Drinks were weak, not worth the price. Overall a miss for me.

Great evening atmosphere. Super friendly staff and very clean. Now let’s talk food. Super satisfying, good portions and great flavors. The waitress wasn’t wearing much, which was kinda uncomfortable. But it was worth the price tag.

This spot was lit 🔥 I was greeted to a plethora of beautiful women. The staff & service was awesome. The DJ deserves a promotion. Drinks 🍸 & food was hitting.

Kar Part

Absolute garbage of an “establishment” - guy with the man bun behind the bar is not a happy person and makes that clearly felt by the customers. They add a $3.60 “auto gratuity” on top of several other “service charges” and don’t bother explaining. The tequila pour was embarrassing and the quality was equally so. Never, I repeat, never, come here. It’s literally the worst bar in Los Angeles.

All of the food was small portions. But the food itself was pretty good! And awesome place to grab a drink with friends on a weekend. Our waitress was responsive and the gratuity was included. The salmon was smoked and the eggs were perfectly runny. The mimosas were also strong enough to make me order 2 of them. I would recommend this place to someone else with the desires of a nice outdoor space to eat during covid

I went to 3rd base on a weekend afternoon. It's conveniently located 5 minutes down the street from Hollywood Blvd. I was grateful that there wasn't a wait so we were able to be seated right away. We went at 4pm and were told that we'd only be able to booth until 6pm. I assume it must turn into a party/club scene in the evening but that was fine because we only wanted to get a quick bite and keep exploring the area.

We waited about 10-15 minutes before we were even greeted by our waitress. We were told she apparently was still on break and hadn't seen us. Which I honestly wouldn't completely blame her, it must've been a lack of communication between her and the host + hostess but still it was annoying. We were literally seated right in front of the hostess table so to me common sense is if you don't at least see water on the table (of customers you just sat) perhaps you should check up on the customers.

When we finally did get service 15 minutes later we were able to place our food order. I ordered the waffle fries, Buffalo sliders and mango habanero wings and my bf ordered the Philly cheesesteaks sliders. My food came out pretty fast but another slip up unfortunately.. they didn't bring out the Philly sliders. We had to reorder and eventually all of our food came out. Overall the food was pretty good, so no complaints there. It was more so the lack of service at this restaurant.

This is definitely a party kind of atmosphere, a nice looking venue with loud music and a pretty nice looking cocktail menu. It's seems like a fun place to go with a group of friends but not exactly a place I'd rave about.

I really enjoyed everything up until the bill came. I went and sat at the bar myself. When I asked for the check, I had an upcharge for large party of 4 or more lol. There was also some other random % charge on top of the drinks. Typically if my car tab is 60 I'd leave 25, but I was told this is the policy there so that was that, 18% upcharge for the large group of 4 or more which was just me...solo.

As an owner of multiple businesses, these kinds of things should be made public. Terrible policy and the reason I'd never go back. Look at my posting history, I don't rant and rave about stuff and rarely leave negative comments.
