Amazing pool, amazing experience and amazing quality. We had no idea what we’re getting into when we had Bob come to give us a bid for a pool. We were a bit nervous. Bob calmed us right down. Now that the pool is finished, we are over the moon with excitement. The whole process was so easy, streamline and on time. We had heard many stories of construction delays, setbacks and poor workmanship. So we were prepared for things not working out. That was NOT the case with Bob. When he said something would be done on a certain day and time- it was. He was so easy to talk to and to work with. We had many discussions, quite few explanations and we always came to fair and equitable solutions. Bob was incredible. Even our neighbors were impressed with how clean and considerate the process was. We loved the workman we spend 6 weeks with. They were so pleasant, fun and incredible craftsman. If you’re thinking about choosing a pool contractor- go with Bob at A Pool and Spa. You won’t be disappointed. In fact, you will be pleasantly surprised and get the top of the line pool and equipment. Go ahead, get a pool and fall in love again.

Bob is truly amazing, calmed me down when I started to overanalyze and stress about all the small details, and left me with words of wisdom that I won’t forget! Our pool project began August 14th and we had a pool with water in it by September 15th. Bob and his team are amazing and hardworking. Life’s too short, get the pool. You won’t regret it.

I did a review around April 10. I did get a response from Jim because he did not like the review, he told me he would take finsh my slide, went in and added pictures on June 15 on my first review of what he said his company could do, and what my slide looks like and how they left and Jim thinks it is done. I just want what I paid for and I knew I should’ve gave him the final check so anyone doing business with him DO NOT give him a final check until you’re absolutely satisfied and the job YOU Want is completely done.

After deciding we wanted to build a pool, I called multiple pool builders. We considered and sourced quotes from builders of Vinyl , fiberglass, and gunite/shotcrete pools. All had a 'base' price with additions for better pool equipment, lighting, plaster etc. When I called, Bob answered the phone, not a sales or office person. He said there were no options other than plaster finishes. Everything everyone else was charging as an upgrade was included.

We opted for a SPA that can be operated year round even when the pool is closed for the winter. As first time (and last) pool owners, we didn't have a clue how big of project this was going to be. Bottom line, Bob was helpful and friendly during the entire process. He always answered my call or texted me back even when there was delays related to supply chain or other not so great news.

His crew Shawn and Nick are super picky and very detailed. They are nice and I trusted them as they came and went.

There were times I was a pain in the butt! Bob would drive up and walk us through where we were and what was happening and when. I could not ask for more than that from a contractor.

The pool is done. We had our first family pool party this past weekend. Everyone loved it. Color is beautiful. Pool equipment can be ran from my phone.

We have never owned a pool before, so we did loads of research prior to this purchase. We decided we wanted a plastered pool and sought out several bids. Some places didn’t even bother to return our call.

After reviewing our bids, we went with Bob and his crew. We chose them because everything was included in the bid, including the equipment we needed to maintain the pool.

Working with Bob was a dream. He showed up when he said he would. He personally oversaw all the phases of the building. And he cheerfully answered his phone (or quickly returned texts) to answer our questions.

We are thrilled with our pool and so grateful to Bob and his amazing team. 10/10 would recommend!
