This is by far the best hardware store in the area! If you want help, also you can find a human here who is knowledgeable and if he or she does not have the answer that person will find the right person to answer your question. I love shopping here. In fact, today I made an online purchase and they said it would be ready for pick up in 15 minutes and sure enough it was. They got great prices and they’re always reliable so I highly recommend shopping here and giving your money to them rather than the big box stores.

First time ever entering an Ace hardware (Canadian), had the pleasure of being assisted by Ron, who was not only friendly and extremely knowledgeable, he took the time to educate me on different hardware and helped me with getting all the items I needed. Truly had a great experience, from being helped by Ron with hardware, all the way to the lovey lady at checkout. Thanks again and will surely be coming back as a repeat customer going forward. Don’t usually write reviews but felt this definitely warranted the recognition.

I stopped in last week with an issue I had no idea how to approach. Thankfully I talked to Nathaniel, who gave me not only the best advice I could've gotten, but he went above and beyond for me. He solved my issue, educated me on the problem, and made it sound so interesting that I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Ace Hardware. If you come to this store, ask for Nathan!

Last Sunday my chainsaw broke. I brought it in shortly before closing time to the Ace on Colonial Drive. Expecting just to drop it off, I quickly found the nearest employee and told him what I needed.

The assistant manager, Nathaniel, looked it over and told me that it needed more than just the repair I was requesting. "I really don't want you to waste your money getting something you don't need," he told me.

For the next 15 minutes he spent time removing the chain, cleaning out the bar and housing unit and inspecting everything. Ultimately he could not fix the issue but told me to buy a new part - which they sold but that it would be better to buy from the manufacturer.

He easily could have let me drop it off for a repair that wouldn't work or let me buy the part from there just to make a sale. He didn't. It was amazing and far beyond what I have ever experienced from their "orange-aproned" competitor.

First time at this location. I needed to refill one of my propane tanks for Hurricane Milton impending arrival. Mind you I always do my propane at a Walmart or Wawa. No clear direction on where to go and how the process is. The cashier was just straight rude and I had to ask where do I go after paying. So I lug the tank to the rear of the store and just waited, more customers showed up and finally an employee comes out to fill our tanks. He looks at my tank rips off the paper label and sees some rust. He started to pick on the rust showing me and then rudely says, I’m not filling this! I stare at him and ask am I getting a refund, he said yeah in the store. As I pick up my tank with full of frustration and shock, an older employee stops me and tells the guy to fill my tank. I already paid, and he needs to fill it. He makes a comment that well if this explodes! I just want to thank the older employee and the younger one standing now behind the one filling the tank for letting me get my tank filled.

Stopped in this morning as a new homeowner to pick up some items and had a very lackluster experience. This is the same store I had previously spent $650+ at not even a month prior.

I wasn’t greeted upon entering which was odd, perused 6-8 aisles looking for something and never saw anyone to help me. Finally found what I was looking for and only after looking at the available options for 5+ minutes did someone decide to stop by and see if I needed anything. I purchased some caulk and wasn’t told I needed a caulking gun, again relying on the employees to help educate me.

Just an odd experience all around and not sure I’d go back since it wasn’t too different than a big box store with higher prices and limited selection. I figured the customer experience and personalized assistance would be what sets it apart, but not today.
