Das Hotel ist neu. Der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. Zimmer für 4 gebucht, Frühstück angeblich für 2. Ewig diskutiert. Am nächsten Tag haben wir gar nichts bekommen. Frühstück nur bis 9.30, trotz Feiertag. Zu teuer.

Fuer die Dauer einer Technischen Konferenz in San Antonio habe ich 1 Woche in diesem Hotel verbracht. Wer schon einmal in einem Courtyard by Marriott genaechtigt hat wird auch hier keine grossen Unterschiede zu anderen Courtyards finden. ||||Die Lage ist gut (ca. 15 Gehminten zum Riverwalk Downtown). In der naeheren Umgebung gibt es 2 mexikanische Restaurants die man durchausempfehlen kann. Weiters gibt es ein Bill Miller BBQ in der Naehe.||||Tipp: Es gibt die Option mit einem 10 Dollar Bistro-Coupon zu buchen, dieser kann dann fuer alle Speisen und Getraenke verwendet werden.||||Internet und Parken ist kostenlos.

Great staff! The lobby was updated and sleek. However, the rooms were not as updated as expected. The bathrooms were very outdated and the shower floor was dirty.

I had the worse experience in this hotel; I booked a reservation under my name and when I tried to check in I noticed I did not have an ID with me so I wasn’t allowed to do so; while I understand this is a requisite , they did not show any willingness to help me; I asked if we could change to my husband name and their reply was negative and told me to liaise directly with Expedia;. I couldn’t get a hold of Expedia so i asked if I could book another room with my husband ID for the same price and they also refused. Instead they canceled my reservation and suggested I looked for another hotel.

All this happening at 1am and with my 4yo feeling sick, who vomited in our car while waiting for our room and entered the lobby with her dad, both with vomit on their clothes looking for a place to change.

I understand the ladies were doing their job but I was very disappointed to see zero empathy for me and my family who were so vulnerable at that specific time.

Luckily I was able to find another hotel, booked under Expedia under my name (by mistake, I was very stressed) and I was allowed to change to my husbands name.

The only positive note is that I was able to get a refund.

Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio Downtown Market Square: The front desk staff and the Bistro/Starbucks staff were amazing! They make you feel like family and met every need, answered all my questions, and went above and beyond. The room was perfect, clean, and comfortable. There is a mini fridge and microwave, with a wonderful small upscale HEB grocery store one block away! Walk to everything if you are able-bodied...within one mile or so (Riverwalk, Alamo, Convention Center, Restaruants, Boats). Lots of Uber and Lyfts too.

Was very happy with the stay at this hotel. The staff is GREAT!
Very friendly and make you feel at home. Comfortable beds, great shower pressure and drains great too. The place has been recently remodeled. Bonus having nice clean new everything. Thank you for a wonderful stay. If going back to San Antonio we will definitely stay here.

Would give more stars if after 2 days of asking the pool would get skimmed, a few isn't a big deal given its an outdoor pool, but it was FULL and didn't really want to be swimming and come up with a face full of bugs 🤮 the first part of our stay it was clean in and around it every day. Room was nice except lacking the sleeper sofa as requested and that was on my reservation. Hotel was kept pretty clean, gym and laundry were nice. Staff were all quite friendly.

The lady at the front desk - Aubrey - was able to understand my concerns with my original room, and solve them effectively and quickly. I therefore give 5 stars and will recommend this hotel to anyone flying into SAT.
