We love the Edina pool 🙂 The lifeguards are excellent - big shout out to George who was so great with my son last weekend on the surf wave! George spent time teaching and reassuring my son after he fell and scraped up his hip. After some tips and practice, my son jumped back in and tried again. It was so sweet to watch and we are very appreciative of his patience!!

Fantastic experience! I’ve never seen lifeguards like these. I wish I could post a video. Their heads are on a constant swivel scanning the water. Every single one of them. It’s pretty cool to watch.
I came on a Tuesday and it wasn’t super busy. Plenty of open seats and it was 80-90 degrees. Kids all had a blast.
The one thing I will say is that there was a field trip or something that brought a massive group of kids in, but they all went into the toddler area. It didn’t affect us because I have older children, but I could imagine it wasn’t the best experience for those there with toddlers. Might be worth calling ahead to see if anything like that is planned for the day.
I bought the 10 pack of admission tickets for $110 (so $11 a piece) and thought it was totally worth the price. Two water slides, zip line, two diving boards, plenty of swim space, and the toddler play area. The water boarding was $8 extra but you got a wristband could do it unlimited times once you paid.

First time coming here with my children. The park is a lot of fun for the whole family. They have areas for all ages. They have life jackets for all sizes and life guards on duty the whole time. They have a concession area and lots of seating. After 5pm tickets are $10.

This waterpark is so fun and my kids love it. My only complaint is that we want more of it!

It’s always so disappointing each year that it closes in late August just when the weather is getting extra hot. We would go through September if possible.

I know you staff the pool with students who are out on summer break, but perhaps there’s a way to keep it open on weekends so local kids could still work there and the rest of us could still attend.

My family missed going entirely this season because by the time we had an open weekend and the weather was hot, you were already closed for the season.

Was looking for a fun “hot day” activity. I’d been here before when my kids were little, but now it’s even more fun for them.

There is a body board / wave experience ($7 extra) - really appreciate that they limit the time for riders so you don’t end up with some dude pulling tricks for 40 minutes.

Entry fee is reasonable ($11/person) and includes a tube slide and body slide, zip line drop into the pool, 2 diving boards, pool space for playing (no floaties!) and a cool splash and slide area with zero entry for smaller kids.

Concessions can only be consumed in the concession area, but there’s a fair amount of shaded seating and lines are never too long (except when it’s the 15 min pool break).

For context, we were her on an 85 degree day in mid- August. There are probably 200+ lounge chairs. Most sit “reserved” most of the time, but there’s opportunity to find a chair or two if you keep your eyes open. Kind of wish they’d adopt the 30 min hold rule of some resorts (if you leave your stuff for 30 min, someone can remove them from the chair and take that seat). Also could minimize concession congestion by adding a soda machine.

We will def be back.

Horrible place! Waterpark is great and really entertaining but the people are horrible including some lifeguards! My daughter was trying to build up the courage to go on the big diving board and the lifeguards on duty were making fun of her as well as 2 grown adults in the pool! There was a grown woman who was also video tapping my daughter! Would not recommend going unless you want to be bullied and video tapped!

Bro did you know a public pool could actually be this good

You did not.

Let’s get into it-

If lifeguards were military, these are the Blue Angels. They’re all admirals in the Life Guards.
Also? For some reason they speed-walk everywhere and the changing of the guards is utterly hilarious. They’re serious. Your offspring are GUARDED.

The pools are huge and marvelous and nobody would DARE pee in them. I certainly didn’t. Nope.

There’s zip lines and slides and pirate stuff for the littles and a dedicated playground and surf lessons and…
I’m saying if your kid gets bored here, then your house must be a combination of Disney World and Valhalla.

But who cares about any of this because the most important part? The food is so intensely, weirdly good it’s almost alarming. Like what the HELL Edina Pool, why is this corn dog so good, what are you DOING back there. You are a POOL.
