I stayed at Embassy Suites San Antonio Riverwalk and appreciated the great location and welcoming atmosphere. The lobby and downstairs area were impressive, showing the effort put into making a good first impression. Additionally, the room was spacious, featuring two queen beds and a convenient pull-out couch that added flexibility for my family.

However, the room condition was disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel. There were noticeable issues, such as black mold and holes in the wall, which made the stay less comfortable. It’s clear that more attention is given to the communal areas than to room maintenance.

If they addressed these issues, it could truly elevate the guest experience. Overall, I’d still recommend the hotel for its convenience and amenities but hope they improve room upkeep in the future.

I so enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable with daily trash pickup and clean towels. The Breakfast buffet was wonderful! Anything I could have wanted or asked for was available with Amber in constant attendance. Amber brought such a welcome warming smile to my breakfast table that it was truly a joy just to hear her voice and watch her being nice to everyone. I looked for her every morning waiting to hear her good morning and was there anything she could do for me. I was truly spoiled from the intake to discharge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in San Antonio.

Best sleep quality I’ve had at a hotel in a long time. Dark rooms, comfy beds. Quiet. Rooms are big. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is ideal. The gym could use more weights, but aside from that this place is great.

As usual, this embassy suites was excellent. The staff were friendly. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great. The location is also great because it's within easy.Walking distance of the main area to the river wall without being in the middle of the noise. We love staying at this embassy suites because of these reasons.

Grace & Gator Adventures

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Embassy Suites Riverwalk. Harrison, the valet, took great care of our car. We were in and out a lot, and he was prompt and attentive! Big props to him. Breakfast was good. We were on the street side on the 8th floor. We could still hear the loud music coming from vehicles cruising the strip at night. That was annoying, but only lasted about an hour. The room was great. The mattress was so comfortable. Tons of closet space. We loved the fridge and microwave. The couch wasn’t the comfiest, but it was functional. I was disappointed not to have a hot tub in the pool area, but after checking it out we didn’t have time to swim anyway.

Location and guest services are very good. Rooms need to be upgraded like carpet and mattress. It says queen but hardly a full size. Lumpy and uneven mattress. Air conditioning also is pretty old and needs upgrades. Breakfast is awesome and lobby/reception is picturesque.

Pros: Perfect location (right on the Riverwalk), breakfast was A class and so was the happy hour. You don't see many hotels doing that for free. You do have to valet at $49 per night, but not many other options. There is a parking lot right across the street.... about 50 ft, but it's pretty much the same price.

Cons: Stayed next the the fire exit and the the door for the fire exit was locked. I tried the other door down the hall and that one opened.....not safe at all especially when you have toddlers.

The room was very outdated compared to the price you pay. Every morning I was cleaning a big puddle of water off the bathroom floor because I thought it was from the shower. Found out on my last day that water was coming through the access panel in the ceiling during the night.
