Course was in decent condition for being late in the season. Nice layout and very playable for all levels with open room for those errant shots. Bumpy cart paths but carts are in good condition. Nice facilities for members with a nice bar area and pro shop.

I went there for the Mothers day brunch in May 24' .The bunch was nice enough. After the meal I paid and left a tip for my party of 7.Afterwards while we stood outside talking in the parking lot a waitress ( not the one who waited on our table I will add) came out ,over to us and asked if we had paid our bill !!!!. I have to admit we were all stunned and shocked by the question. Of course we paid our bill I told her.Why would anyone stay in the parking lot in broad daylight having a conversation if they hadn't paid for the meal I asked ?
They would have left right away!!!!.Just then the waitress who waited on us came out and told the other waitress she had waited on us and that we indeed did pay and motioned for her to come back inside. Needless to say the day was ruined for all of us.I tried to contain myself in front of my son and nieces. Once I reached home I called back,asked for the manager and retold her what happened. The manager had no explanation why one of her staff would follow us out and ask if we paid,especially since she wasn't the waitress that waited on us.The manger assured me that they treat all their customers with the upmost respect and curtesy and would investigate the matter fully and get back with me. My wife also sent a message to the corporate office relaying what happened. Neither the manger nor the corporate office ever got back with us. It would be more open and honest if the Flushing County Club would just come out and say they don't care for our business. If that's the case their mission was achieved, because I'll never set foot on their property ever again for any reason!!!!.I won't bother to ask of all the people who were there in the parking lot why we were the only ones asked about weather or not we paid our bill. Perhaps I wasn't dressed properly ( folks were there in shorts and sandals,but not us 🤔) That couldn't have been it. Maybe we acted suspicious by talking in the parking lot after the meal.( no ,there were other people doing the same thing)🤔 I've run out of reasons. I know everything that happens sometimes is just one of those things a misunderstanding, etc. If that was the case why did no one from the establishment reach out to us after the incident I would think the only issue for a business is their reputation and making money. I guess neither of these things mattered when it came to me and my party. Leads me to wonder what happened and why we were singled out.My party and I were Black. I'll let you decide.

Went to a wedding there tonight. Is it peak luxury? No. But it's very nice for a reasonable wedding. Nice little outdoor set up and banquet room. And honestly the food was really good which is rare for a wedding.

I arrived and greeted at the bag drop off. I was early so I took a quick tour. Beautiful all around, fabulous bar and huge banquet facility for 2-300 plus. Played 18 holes, every hole is a challenge full of trees, river running through.
Afterwards had lunch, great menu and prices so reasonable to prior covid days. Best of all, delicious.
I just wish it was closer but I'll drive 90 minutes again and again.

Experienced the store being closed before 7pm, which is there time to close. The first time was 2 Saturdays ago, I arrived at 648PM and the doors were locked and they were inside counting the cash drawer. And last Saturday, I arrived at 649PM to buy a box of golf balls and was told "we are not handing out anymore Teetimes and not selling anymore golf balls, we are trying to get the golf carts in ASAP" I will not be back there again, there are many other golf courses that would love my business

An unfortunate experience. Moved into Flushing about 2 years ago, and as a local business owner, I like supporting local businesses and have golfed many times here in my 2 years. The golf course is great and is the only reason they get 3 stars. Today I drove up to FVGC to schedule a later Tee Time because their phone and internet was down. Staff was very nice and I had expressed to the pro shop employees that my Fiance and I were thinking about becoming members. We golfed and enjoyed the course as usual but we have never experienced the restaurant. Tonight was a comedy show and we finished our game right before the show with intentions to catch the show and get dinner and drinks. The tables in the bar were first come first serve for the comedy show so we sat for about 10 minutes and then noticed another couple come in, sit and get menus and drinks before we were ever acknowledged. Waited for another 10 minutes and nothing. 20 minutes of sitting awkwardly with no drinks, no menus and no service in sight. We felt a huge impression that we were not members, and did not belong. I did check and asked staff before attending the event to make sure it was public and they said yes. We ended up leaving before ever being served and walked out right past staff and not a word from them. It is too bad as we wanted to experience this part of the establishment before applying for our memberships.

I used to be a member hear years ago, so I have nostalgia for the place. It used to be the best greens around. Now..middle of the road maintenance, greens pretty slow, t boxes kimda.beat up. Still, nice place, club house is nice for dining. I play my league here and enjoy the layout. It's seen better days, but I still recommend it.
