Disclaimer: I didn’t have a membership here, this is more of a rating of the people I interacted with while I was there and what I saw.

The management and gym recruiters at this gym are top notch. I talked with a guy named Raider McHugh and he was an incredibly nice guy. He gave me a tour of the place and the explained the discounts I qualified for. Unfortunately the price of a membership at this gym was a bit out of my budget (about $100 a month for a person under 24) and I did not end up going here. Upon follow up Raider understood that it wasn’t something I could really afford and was really polite unlike other gyms I had toured who would persistently call me. He was super respectful about my finances, so much so that it convinced me to write this review.

From my tour this gym looked very clean and had a lot to offer. If I could afford $100 a month and used all the amenities regularly I would say this is a great gym. Their pool and locker rooms looked amazing. They had a spectacular weight area and they had a large turf field for training. The only thing to me that was a slight turn off was that they did not lend out gym equipment for pickle ball or tennis. Overall tho an amazing gym from the outside and inside but I have to give it 4 stars because of the price. If I could rate just on how I was treated there I’d give this place 5 stars, as they deserve that.

This gym is definitely a great spot! They have everything here so the price is worth it. I feel like I’m on a mini vacay when I use the steam room or their hot tub/cold plunge. There’s also massage services available which is separate. The workers I have encountered while coming have been really nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Génesis GYM is an outstanding place to visit with your couple, family, and friends. The facilities are top-notch, offering a wide range of activities that cater to all interests and fitness levels.

I particularly love the pool, which is perfect for a refreshing swim or just lounging by the water.

The tennis courts are excellent for both casual and competitive games, and the gym is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that suits all workout routines.

The basketball courts are a great addition, providing a fun and energetic environment for a game with friends.

Overall, Génesis GYM is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to stay active and have a great time.

This gym has been going downhill FAST since Genesis took over ownership. Cleanliness is down. Every employee I have interacted with is miserable and also is not happy with Genesis as the new owner. The Employee turnover has been high. They have completely destroyed the Tennis program. The reason we joined the gym was because they had cardio tennis classes included in the membership and they have since taken that away and now charge 10$ a class to members. Me and my partner are not going to pay an additional 60$ per week to continue those classes. Now they are making it difficult to reserve tennis courts at all, and you can no longer rent the ball machine. Terrible terrible terrible. I also am having issues with them honoring the pause your membership option. I want pause my membership for December and I have gotten the run around for weeks on how to do that and now they are saying it’s to late. Ridiculous. They do NOT value your membership as they will probably reply saying. Also the new soap in the bathroom is terrible. And they are ALWAYS out of towels. My fiancé told me that many shower stalls in the men’s locker room also don’t work. We consider every day if we should keep our membership or cancel and go somewhere and pay 1/10th of the cost. Genesis if you are reading this, please stop destroying this gym and put your customers who pay 130$ a month first please and thank you.

Update: I finally got in contact with someone who was able to pause my membership. I stated many many many times I only wanted to pause it for 1 month. They paused it for longer than 1 month and despite restarting my membership which was paused December-1 to Jan 1. They charged me an extra 10$ fee two times. So I have 20$ in fees for pausing my membership for 1 month when it was suppose to be only 10$ per month. I wanted my membership reactivated on the first of January and when I visited the club on the 2nd they charged my normal payment + an extra 10$ because they had it in the system that I wanted a pause for 3 months even though I said we would only be traveling for 1 month and wanted it paused for 1 month exactly. I’m not even gonna try to fight the charge at this point, the management in this club has no power to fix things. As soon as they mess with yoga or Torch classes Genesis will lose 2 memberships.

It also appears that the gym has either sold or is renting one of the basketball courts frequently to a high school. The issue is they bring a DJ and BLAST music. This has ruined the late afternoon classes on the turf and weight room. For multiple weeks now I have not been able to hear the torch instructors over the high schoolers having a literal rave. Like they even had glow sticks yesterday while the DJ was blasting music. The torch turf area is completely open to the basketball court so there is no way to block out the outrageously loud music. Why dont they build a wall? Or at least have some kind of noise ordinance for the people renting the basketball court? This has never been an issue with other schools that have rented it in the past. I literally had to leave the ultimate conditioning class halfway through due to how loud the music was. It was unbearable I couldn’t hear myself think.

We recently visited Genesis Gym and were excited about joining. However, our experience with the gym’s daycare was unacceptable. On July 24, during our sign-up process, our one-year-old son, Vinny, was left crying and unattended in a dark room. The daycare staff showed no effort to comfort him or contact us, despite knowing we were just finishing our registration. Instead, our older son, who is 2.5 years old, tried to comfort his brother while the staff did nothing.

We arrived at Genesis Gym at 6:12 PM and picked up our children at 7:36 PM. My wife had to remind Jamie that the daycare closed at 7:30 PM, as Jamie did not mention it and my wife felt something was wrong. We had informed Jamie and the daycare staff multiple times that we do not let anyone watch our kids and were very nervous about leaving them. Jamie “checked” on the kids twice during our tour, and during the second check around 7:30 PM, she mentioned she could barely hear because a child was crying. We believe this child was Vinny.

Additionally, we were not asked to sign any necessary forms or provide our contact information. This lack of basic procedure and documentation is concerning. The entire reason we considered joining the gym was for the childcare service, which would provide my wife a much-needed break during the day. This incident has left us deeply disturbed and disappointed. We cannot trust a facility that neglects the well-being of children in their care. We hope that the gym management takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary changes to prevent such occurrences in the future.

Terrible service. I can’t wait for lifetime to open so I can enjoy a gym that actually cares about their customers. Terrible guest privileges, they won’t let you use an empty cycle room (never been to a gym with this policy) and just terrible management and business practices here. You’d think a failing business would value their customers. Doesn’t feel great paying a premium price for mediocre service.

I do not have a membership here!! however, I appreciate the people coming on here and saying what their experience have been! I was contemplating getting a member ship here but now I will look elsewhere, thank you !!! too may bad reviews about the same thing! cleanliness rated 0. professionalism rating 0 and that was enough for me.
