This place holds history and talent. Kids from across the Bay Area would come to train here to be the next Olympians of our country. Artistic swimmers, divers, speed swimmers,etc.

Great pool, great coaches! Only 1 complaint, their changing room is tiny when you compare it to number of students and seasoned swimmers in pool at any given time. For learn to swim they use the bubble to shield little kids from weather. For advanced learners, they learn in bigger pool so bubble/ dime is not an option.

i was in the santa clara swim school at this pool and here's whats wrong

1 the heater always breaks down

2 the concrete is cracked

3 the hot water in the showers is not working most of the time

4 and the place looks unsafe

I literally spend every summer growing up at this swim center and was even a part of the dive team in my youth years. I'm beyond sad that the city has let this world class swim center that hosted THE MICHEAL PHELPS deteriorate to the point that their own city health inspection agency has closed it indefinitely until the needed repairs are made. What am I paying the required taxes to this city for, if not to benefit myself and the community in these blistering summer heat waves? Make the repairs. You have the money Santa Clara Counsil. 😐

Wow, this place is gigantic! I've never been to such a big pool. I love watching my sister enjoy diving here! So clean.

Little older facility but well kept for its age. Parking can be a challenge but there is a good variety of places to eat around there when you need a break.

Nothing much around the pool other than the residential houses. Parking space is not enough for the competition.

For an "international" swim center, this pool is oddly located in the midst of a residential neighborhood. Unless you get there early, parking is very limited. We attended a swim meet there and our meet sheet instructed us NOT to park at the adjacent library, but didn't specify if that was 7 days a week or if parking was allowed at the library on weekends.

This outdoor pool complex includes a diving well with dive tower, 50M competition pool and also a 25 yd pool that was hosting swim school at the time of meet. The facility is dated, so expect cramped lockers and out buildings for public restrooms.

The bright spot is the generous space in the spectator's area, which includes a overhanging shade structure.
