Affordable, but dirty and run down. The changing rooms are embarrassingly filthy, and so are the functional mats in the main training area. Roof leaks in multiple places around the gym haven’t been fixed for months. The sauna is only heated to moderate temperatures.

Fantastic pool. The best one in Islington. Not too deep but deep enough for a lovely swim experience. Changing room is great and showers are good. Clean and a lovely time I had here. Set in Highbury Fields so a fantastic setting. Love ❤️ the pool and the area. Thank you so much

Have literally been coming here for 20 years and never seen it worse than today. Changing rooms disgusting covered in mud, tissues and rubbish. Two single lanes for medium and fast swimmers and then 6 for everyone else. Massively overbooked and staff rude when asked why they couldn’t split up lanes differently to accommodate more people.

My experience with sauna and steam room is not quite positive: in the sauna the smell is so bad, looks like people are going there directly from the gym, without taking shower before. I could barely stay there 🤷‍♀️ same with the steam room- also there was no shower to wash the seats in the steam room. In both sauna and steam room, people sit on the benches without using any towel or fabric under them, which may lead to some bacterias staying on the wooden sauna surface.
Cherry on the pie is that even now (almost half day after my experience), I have this smell of sweat in my nose 🙁 sad….

I used to use the gym facilities here. It has some alright equipment, but it’s all in desperate need of a deep clean. Lots of grime caked in the corners of treadmills and other machines. If the gym is busy, it usually smells quite bad, so I think it could do with a better air purifying system. Temperature regulation often isn’t great, it’s often very warm and muggy inside. Change rooms/bathrooms are quite gross and in need of a deep clean also.

Has swimming, gym, and sauna. Staff, not that customer, focused from my experience. More attention to detail is required as certain maintenance issues have remained even when reported. Had a sauna booked arrived to find several other waiting as the sauna or steam hadn't been turned on. Who runs this place? Basic turn your equipment on how had is it. And when someone did turn up all they could say is "it wasn't me" No apologies.

It’s so bad that child(male) needs to change cloth in front of naked adults man. There is no enough changing rooms, someone need to think and provide something that at least will
Cover children during the change!!!
