This hotel is located in a very noisy area of SA. I stayed here over the weekend as part of a wedding, but my experience was far from restful. Throughout the night, I could hear loud music from nearby restaurants, banging on walls, dogs barking, and more, making it nearly impossible to sleep.

When I raised the noise issue at checkout, the staff simply said they couldn’t control the sound and did not offer to comp some of my bill. To make matters worse, when my wife retrieved our car from the valet (which took like 30 mins), it reeked of weed. When I mentioned this to the front desk during checkout, they dismissed it, claiming the valet is a separate entity and had to address it with them essentially saying not their responsibility.

It’s disappointing that the hotel staff failed to address either issue and refused to offer any form of compensation. Of which I ended up paying full price for totally being disappointed with my experience here.

While the valet may be an external service, they represent the hotel to guests, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here if you value a good night’s sleep or responsive customer service. This stay was the worst and should be taken care of by the satisfaction guarantee.

I have thoroughly reviewed my receipts and statements, and these charges do not align with my stay or any services I used. 1. Digital keys to room won't work before you check in at front desk. Impractical i needed to have family waiting by the room until this was complete.
2. Customer service was disrespectful when addressing hotel concerns.
3. Curtains in room did not completely go all the way down so it let day/night light in the room.
4. Water backed up in tub.
5. Lobby is on first floor not on ground floor so be prepared to deal with valet and their rules when parking in tiny area.
6. Name on TV welcoming guest was not my name. Makes you wonder if hotel made a mistake checking you in.

I really don't know what to think about these reviews. I'm thinking they were all made up or someone was paid to review this place. The very first thing that comes to you is that nasty filthy carpet all over this place. I didn't even want to step on the carpet barefooted it's so filthy nasty. Only one elevator working, the one that was working was not level with the floor and there was a big trip hazard where we were all jumping over to try to get onto the landing. The parking is horrible because it's downtown so there's nowhere to park so they take your car and park it in an empty lot near the property and charge you $40. I understood we got a free Continental breakfast, after serving myself I asked for silverware and they had a tucked away behind the bar and the gentleman tells me well there's an $18 fee for breakfast..... They make you serve yourself and then they tell you it's not free. I went ahead and agreed to the $18 Heck family had already served ourselves. The food was so nasty and rubbery, I don't think they cook the food here I think it comes out of a bag onto a skillet and onto a plate. Everything tasted not good to be nice. The mattress feels like the springs are ready to pop out when you lay on the mattress the springs are making crumpling noise is under you. The sheets felt like they were washed and did not use softener they were very rough itchy. Sorry it sounds like a bunch of complaints but I truthfully wasn't happy The only good thing about this place that is close to the Riverwalk but it is not what the reviews say.

I booked this place for 2 days which was a total of $514, plus valet parking. Anyways I was so disgusted with this place I wanted to leave after the first day. The lady tells me because I booked both days together that was a special price..... Hmmmm. She was wanting $615 for one day one night for me to cancel. I just left and went home. What an awful experience. Please be cautious of what reviews your reading for those place.

Why is it like $500 to spend at a hotel like this ? This is not even luxurious in any type of way. Carpet looks dirty outside, homeless sleeping right next to the hotel. On top of that, parking situation was a nightmare. Every hotel I’ve been to before this one, more affordable and better looking, cost less and include ALL amenities. Why are you going to charge me $20 on top of that to get breakfast? Stingy ass company. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend to NOBODY. It is only the price it is because it’s next to the riverwalk. Ridiculous

My husband and I stayed one night on a quick trip through town. We loved that it was walking distance to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. We did have an issue with our room, but we brought it to the attention of the desk attendant in the morning and he made sure to make it right. We absolutely will stay here again next time we're in San Antonio.

My stay this past week was quite negative. The worst was the only one working elevator that the staff constantly rode to service the rooms. It would be 10+ minutes wait for the elevator almost everytime. Second was the alarms that went off 3 different times as early as 6 am and as late as 11pm. And last was the room, just dirty and nothing worked quite the way it should. One example of the room was the bathroom, I had to leave the lights and fan on the whole time so it didn't make an awful clicking noise.

Terrible terribly terrible. Spent 30minutes looking for parking since they had the valet blocked off for an event. No heads up of the valet entrance change btw. Upon checking in the lady at the front desk let us know of all the amenities including breakfast. Next morning comes, turns out you need to pay for a voucher or pay $20 per person (not listed on the information sheet). You would think $400 for 2 days would at least include breakfast. Best Western isn't even this stingy. Terrible experience and I've only been here 1 night so far. Definitely won't be back.
