Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District - Houston, Texas

My mom, daughter, and I stayed here for one night to celebrate my mom's birthday. The restaurant was outstanding and I would highly recommend it. The food was very good and the service was both friendly and professional. The hotel, however, I cannot recommend. An incident occurred and the customer service following the incident was not at all what I would expect from what is supposed to be a "luxury" hotel. This hotel is not kid-friendly, though perhaps that is the point; it is likely intended for a different kind of clientele. However, because it is described online as kid-friendly, I felt the need to leave this review for other parents of young children who may be looking for a hotel in the museum district. My recommendation -- look elsewhere.

My stay at Hotel Zaza Museum was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, the valet service set the tone for excellent service, making me feel welcome and taken care of. The Fantástico Suite was a dreamy retreat with gorgeous details and an incredibly comfortable bed, providing a luxurious and relaxing experience. Every little detail added to the special ambiance of my stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

After a harrowing cancellation of our reserved hotel, we were able to book a suite almost at midnight! Every staff member was courteous, kind, professional al and extremely helpful! Room service was delicious!! 12/10 would recommend! Everything was exceptional!!

This was our 3rd time staying at Hotel Zaza! We just love the atmosphere. It's always a romantic vibe and the hotel food and service is excellent!! The pool area is always a great chill spot, whether you are in the pool or just enjoying a drink outside in the bar area. We are always treated very well and will continue to make this our hotel of choice when visiting Houston.

I’ve heard so much about the famous Hotel Zaza, so I finally decided to do a brunch date at the restaurant. Monarch is absolutely beautiful. The aesthetic, layout, and atmosphere is stunning!!! Valet was extremely nice, and the food was to die for. I ordered the lamb chops. I was a little taken back by the restaurant service. It took a minute for the host to arrive at the host stand, and our server Cory was super kind but seemed very distracted. Maybe they were short handed that day? He didn’t visit our table too many times, and quickly asked us if we would like to charge our room or card mid way through our meal. We felt rushed. Other than that, everything was outstanding. I definitely would recommend the food to anyone!

Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by very nice and welcoming valet. Front desk was very friendly and hooked my wife and I up with an amazing room for our anniversary, room service was great, food phenomenal, decor was super cool, a moody gothic Victorian feel The bedroom was awesome and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be coming back! Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

This was the first time we stayed with Hotel ZaZa. Jordan Synder helped us transfer our reservation, check in, and showed us some of the best hospitality we have ever had. Trey the bell hop was also very inviting and welcoming. The food, drink, and service were absolutely wonderful. Thank you, thank you! We will be back!

Truly a unique stay in all of Houston!

The Zaza is close to everything - Rice, the Medical Center, the Museum District, Hermann Park, midtown, and downtown. It has upscale appointments, an excellent bar/restaurant for business meetings, and well-equipped events spaces.

What really stands out about the Zaza, though, is it's style! Every room is uniquely decorated with pictures of celebrities from film and stage. Staying here always feels like stepping into the golden age of Hollywood - and each stay in each room is unique.

On top of it all, their staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like the most important guest in the world. 5/5 would recommend!
