I've been coming here to swim laps for nearly a decade or so because the pool itself is terrific. The facility, however, is ineptly managed. The men's locker rooms are almost always filthy, which is hardly surprising since the locker room attendants are either snoring, buried in videos on the phones, or out on the pool deck chatting with other staff. The showers are almost always leaking water, which is probably not great considering the drought we are always going through.

The staff almost never know what's going on, and it gets worse in the summer when they bring in the interns. Everyone will give you a different answer, and not one of them will be correct. Many of the signs posted are out-of-date or have incorrect information or QR codes that don't work. The website is rarely updated with the current calendar. I emailed them once and received an auto-reply with information relevant in *2015*. Their social media presence is a joke. It would be nice if they'd provide updates on pool closures and events and the like, but they almost never do. Honestly, this place might be the worst run pool in LA County.

That said, once you finally get in the pool, it's terrific.

This is indeed the best among LA Park pools that I've visited so far.

Awesome awesome facility and GREAT people working here at this pool!!

My goal has been to swim in all the Olympic pools and for this pool specifically, not only was the entry fee totally reasonable I also got a great overview of how the facility use to be and the renovations made in the past decade.

Really magical to know the 1932 Olympic history here ...

The water was clear, the lap pool was amazing

They always have lifeguard monitoring all the time.

I go there all the time it feels great to swim in the Olympics level pool.

Great public pool. The pool and deck are kept clean. It is well staffed with life guards. The locker room (women’s) is no frills, but it was clean. I’ve been there for rec swim and they have a free bag check so you don’t need to worry about a lock for a locker. Personally belongings are not allowed on the deck during rec swim (except for towels, shoes and sunscreen, etc), which keeps the deck from being crowded. Lots of programs for kids and adults. Abundant lap swimming lanes available for adults.
