What a great public pool! When my seven-year-old daughter and I went in early June for a school friend's birthday party, we had a blast. After signing in and showing I.D., we walked into the gendered changing areas, which were kept clean when we went. The pool area is large with a single pool with various depth and a fenced splash area for younger kids. Staff and lifeguards are attentive. Everyone gets out of the pool for 15 minutes every hour to regulate the pool. Outside the pool is the actual park with plenty of green space for picnics, a skate park, and more. Street parking was easy to find along the park.

This facility is old but it's wonderful for families with kids of all ages. Zero entry pool and wonderful splash pad as well as an easy-to-access adult pool with lanes. The changing rooms are worn down but basically functional. It's a little tricky getting down the hill with little ones - lots of steps so be prepared.

Great pool for the summer. Life jackets available for kids, or bring your own. Lifeguards on duty. 15 minutes of every hour are adult swim only, but there's a small splash park area attached for kids to play during that time. Free for DC residents, non residents need to buy a pass online.

No need to leave the neighborhood for water fun. Love that this pool has a fenced in splash park with a slide. Multiple lifeguard stands, shaded chairs, life jackets, and plenty of street parking.

Gets crowded on a hot afternoon. More chairs could fit inside. They hung a clock for a few weeks once, but now the only passage of time is adult swim from 45 minutes to the hour mark. No vending machines or snack stands.

My mom went to the pool around 11:20 am, the young lady did not let her enter to the pool because she did not wear a swimming, she was wearing a short and t-shirt, the young lady touched her short fabric and told her that should have the same material of her t-shirt. My mom felt discriminate because she could not enter to the pool. She walked 20 minutes to get there and she and her grandchild could not enjoy the pool. I'm so disappointed , she always go that pool and never someone complained about her shorts. She is 66 years old, that was not polite and kind from the lady.

OMG THIS POOL IS THE BEST! We went to rosedale all summer but it had to close early on the last day so we went to this one and I wish we found it earlier! It’s SUPER baby/toddler friendly. The pool has a sloped entrance, essentially a baby pool AND a separate splash park with a slide. Additionally, during adult swim the splash park is still open so kids can still have fun. Needs more chairs, but other than that, this place is amazing. It’s a bit far for us, but we will definitely come visit again next summer!
