I love going here! It is right down the street from my house. There are plenty of open lap swim hours that fit any schedule, morning, afternoon, and evening. There is nothing like swimming outside among the trees! The staff is always friendly, and it’s very cheap ($6 with no pass and about $5 per swim if you buy a pass). As a bonus, the surrounding park is awesome with everything you could want, from play structures, to a hiking trail up into the creek, to basketball courts, tennis courts, and lots of picnic benches. ❤️

Came during public swim and there were lots of children. My intent was to swim laps. To swim in the deep end a simple test of swimming back and forth 4 times and treadimg water for 1 min, with a life guard watching, was required. After I passed the test I swam my laps in the deep end with less children. Overall a great experience

It's clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and professional. It's a small pool but I believe it is 25 yd long. It's not modern but it is in very good shape.

Went to check on swimming classes. I want to sign up soon. I been visiting this park since 70’s. Always a pleasure to come. Now I h by ring my grandchildren. #keepitinmotion👑😎❤️

I love public infrastructure and services!
The staff is friendly, there's always a lifeguard on duty, the bathroom is clean, the pool looks like we'll maintained and it feels safe.
One things could be definitely better: warm or hot water in the showers.
One thing would be cool to see: periodic water quality reports.

The setting is beautiful and the pool is warm. It is starting to show its age and lack of maintenance. The swim lane markers on the pool bottom and sides are almost gone, causing many swimmers to wander out of the lane. The lifeguards could do a better job of ensuring swimmers stay in the lanes appropriate for their speed. There are too many slow swimmers in the medium speed lane, causing a lot of congestion and passing.

Great 35 yard local pool originally built in 1929, with freshly (2019) relaid lane markings/surface & deck. The public schedule is built for regular lap swimmers. In summer (April-Oct) it also has a couple of public recreation hours on Saturday afternoon, which can get busy. The rest of the time it seems quiet but you'll occasionally see swim classes, or hear noisy splashing of school swim teams or even a pre-dawn invasion by the Temescal masters swim club if their regular pool is closed.

I don't get why the showers are still not available. And I wish they would be consistent in lane marking. I signed up for what used to be lane 1 so I could be by the step, but they switched 1 and 5.
