Held my child’s birthday pool party at this facility. Room + pool was $400 and Food for 20 children were $450. The food was restaurant quality. There was no one to escalate concerns to except for the Restaurant Manager, who I found condescending and impertinent. Also, since he did not have anything to do with the birthday party, there really was no one around to assist. We were not informed of the exact pool time availability as such, we only were left with 45 minutes of our hour allotted time. We’re dumped into the dismal child care space. There were no chairs or tables set up in the room and was filled with toys for infants and toddlers. Appreciated the safe-conscious lifeguards. Appreciated Winnie who took our food orders. Appreciated the young ones that assisted us. We met with the membership manager a couple of weeks before and the birthday party was supposed to be my basis to enroll. Based on my experience, we decided not to. All in all, the kids had fun and that’s all that matters

The Mayfair Racquet Club on Lakeshore Rd. East is where fitness meets fun. The weight training area is so well-equipped it might actually guilt you into lifting something, and the friendly members and stellar staff make it hard to leave (even when you’re out of excuses). Great facilities, great vibes—basically, it’s the gym you’d swipe right on. Highly recommend!

Primarily a racket club with a focus on tennis and squash. They've added pickle ball also. The selection of weight equipment is standard, so if you main focus is lifting weights this likely isn't the place for you.

If you like a wide selection of options it's a good pick. Jen the membership manager is great to deal with.

I feel it’s important to share my experience as a warning to other parents considering this camp. Last summer, my child was sent to the hospital in an ambulance due to a reckless decision by a swim instructor. This individual thought it was appropriate to throw kids on top of each other in the pool. As a result, my daughter was forced underwater, swallowed water, struggled for air, and sustained injuries to her neck and back. Thankfully, the instructor was let go that summer, and I was assured he wouldn’t return.

To my shock, when we returned this summer, that same instructor was back. After speaking with management, I was told that he had taken some courses and they felt this was enough to bring him back. In my opinion, no course can teach basic common sense. Management seems to prioritize convenience over safety by allowing someone who previously endangered children to return.

Please think twice before sending your child to this camp. Their hiring standards and lack of priority for child safety are concerning, and I wouldn’t want any other parent to experience what we did.

I got the impression that this facility is more interested in taking your money rather than providing a family-friendly compassionate service. I paid $136 for a PA day camp for my son. The night before, he developed fever and vomiting, and could not attend the camp. Mayfair refused to apply the credit to another PA day and asked for a sick note. In Ontario, employers are not permitted to request that a sick employee provides a doctor's note to justify their work absence, but Mayfair expects parents to get a sick note for their 6 year old for missing camp? Why would working parents book camp weeks in advance and then "cheat" by lying about their child's illness? Doesn't make any sense. Beware of the cancellation policy.

I got a massage session here, it was superb, Droughan is amazing, definitely one of the best RMTs in the city, and the receptionist was super helpful as well. I will be going there again for sure.

We're a family of four; two kids under five and it has been a wonderful experience. The pool's temperature is on the warmer side which is great for little kids and the instructors know how to motivate the little ones and not be scared of the water. The swimming classes and camps are very good (bit pricey but hey it's Toronto). The pool is only 15 or 20mts. and it's hot, so not great for serious swimmers. The kids space was just renovated and has lots of entertainment to offer. We usually drop off our kids at the kids space for 1.5 hrs so we can workout and that works great for us. The staff is very kind to our kids which is all that matters. The food is OK, the menu is typical of a club: breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads, entrees, etc, let's say it's convenient. We don't use tennis or squash so can't comment on that but for a family with little kids it has all we need.
