Pool is listed as open but is empty, no water. I have reported this to Google, but they didn't accept the edit. Houston, YAY!

This is an example of not being able to have nice things. I'm pretty sure there was plenty of cooler weather to do this work, but Houston has strong rules against the use of any form of PLANNING.

Friendly staff, lifeguards on duty. They do allowed outside food and drinks, no glass. Must sign in upon entering, space to place items and couple tables to sit with umbrellas. Water slide is not in use at this time. Portion of the pool 10ft area is not allowed to swim in. Lowest depth is 3ft. Great for small kids and bring your own life vests.

BE AWARE! 4 lifeguards on duty and the one guy signing in people but the deep end is closed and the slide as well? What are they getting paid for if not on duty in the right attire to lifeguard? Come on owners of this pool! Oh and please don’t walk barefoot because there are plastic pieces of broken stuff where adults and children walk. I wish I could upload the pictures I have.

The positive:
The younger lifeguards were well versed, fair, and respectful. The pool was clean and you can’t beat the price (free)! The pool is big and cool and varies in depth and I love the open swim lanes. There are no inflatables allowed, but it’s a great place just to cool off from the Houston heat.

The negative:
This facility needs a new lifeguard supervisor. He was rude and seems to have an extreme power trip based on his attitude. My bf (who is a former lifeguard) and I visited the pool today and had 4 encounters of negative experiences with this individual. Upon signing in, the head lifeguard walked away leaving us holding the clipboard with no instruction; he actually yelled at me for being in an area of the pool dedicated for lap swimmers (an area not marked for lap swim nor having a black swim line), he continued to forcefully instruct me to another area of the pool while I waited for a lap swimmer to pass in the swim lane I was instructed to cross; he blew his whistle at a young girl for being too close to the pool (she was at least 20 feet away from the water); and when my bf spoke up about the inappropriateness of his lecture to her, he started walking aggressively towards him and repeatedly asked “do you have a question you’d like to ask me” in a very disrespectful manner. My bf diffused the situation with a “no” and we left before any more confrontation could occur. I’m very disappointed and discouraged by this experience and I am not comfortable visiting this pool in the future.

Great for free local pool, no noodles, no floaties, only coast guard approved lifejackets allowed for the kids, but other than that this is a nice local pool. The lifeguards are nice and not rude. My daughter and 2.5 year old love coming here, this year's lifeguards seem much better than last year's guards.

I went here for some lap swimming and had a great time. The lifeguards were very friendly and helpful, and there was a designated area for laps separate from the kids and families. There's a small fee to park in the lot but there are plenty of other places in the area to park for free.

When we got there @ 2 PM the sign said pool closed. So I called the number and finally they opened it. After about 30 minutes they ordered everyone out for a 10 minute break. Then they said the pool was closed because they heard thunder not a cloud in the sky. I drove over 40 minutes to get to this pool so Very disappointed. The slide was closed so it was a Bad adventure for my grandkids.
