Overall, I’ve had a great experience at the gym so far. The facilities are well-maintained, and I appreciate the premium amenities. The front desk team is always welcoming and smiling, which makes for a great atmosphere. Also, Michael, the membership person, is the true definition of professional customer service, truly appreciate his help and dedication.

Issue: The swimsuit dryer in the men’s area has been broken for a month, which has been frustrating. I’ve stopped using the aquatics area despite paying for the premium membership because of this. I’d really appreciate it if this could be fixed soon.

Also, it would be great to have wet paper towels available for cleaning the equipment. That small addition would make the gym even better. Thanks!

Good equipment and nice instructors. My complaint is the lack of temporary storage in the fitness classes. There are lockers in the changing rooms but you need a lock. It would be nice if there were shelves or cubbies so people didn't have to keep their belongings on the floor, which is dirty and obtrusive to class.

This gym has a lot of good equipment and options. The staff is friendly. I have been working with Carlos the personal trainer for several months, and he’s the first trainer I’ve worked with. He pushes me hard but is also understanding and adapts when I need to slow down or need extra help with a new goal. He is funny and great work with it. I feel motivated to work out more beyond our sessions.

Moved here last year and decided on onelife because they had a pool and kids club. Turned out to be an excellent choice. Hours are broad. Staff is great. Equipment is comprehensive. And my kids love going to kids club every week, which is huge. Most importantly, the manager, Emery, really cares about the customer experience, which sets the tone for the whole place. Only complaint I have is that the family changing room could be cleaned more often. But overall, definitely recommend.

I want to give a huge shout out to Mr. Jeff OClair at the Onelife Fitness location in Burke. He was extremely helpful in getting my initial membership correctly processed after encountering unforeseen challenges. Jeff was very knowledgeable in being able to explain what changes I needed to make to ensure my billing was being correctly processed. He was also very patient in allowing the appropriate edits to be accepted. Thanks again Jeff for all your assistance and I look forward to being able to work out at the Burke Onelife Fitness gym!!!

Alec is an awesome personal trainer that I work with. He is always very funny and patient while coaching me through the formations of each workout while helping me challenge myself to meet my fitness goals. As well as putting in a lot of effort to develop each workout that could also help me improve coordination and explosive performance for tennis.

I was a member for several years and initially liked the gym, but then the experience gradually got worse. I rarely saw any equipment improvements, despite the annual "club improvement fee," and several things needed replacement or repair. There are not enough dumbells and many don't have numbers or labels. Equipment is usually scattered all over, and even though this is general member gym etiquette problem, the staff really doesn't do much except try to put things away in the last 10 minutes of their shift. There are always bags and belongings scattered all over and groups of kids lifting without shirts on or posing for photos. The bathrooms are always dirty, along with much of the equipment. The staff will go around pretending to clean, but anyone actually using the equipment and paying attention can see filth all over the floor and on the equipment. The open hours were cut during covid and never restored. Finally, I left the area due to military orders and was still charged 6 months after last being in the gym before finally disputing it with my bank. This gym used to be ok, but I think new management came in a few years ago and it's been downhill from there. I also suspect there are fake reviews posted on here because there is no way so many people could not find one thing to complain about at this gym, or any in this price range for that matter.

I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the professional customer service received today. I did a comparative analysis between Golds gym (where I was a long standing member) and One Life Fitness. OneLife won. You ask why?
Personal exceptional customer service from Jeff O Emery B and Michael B goes unmatched. Their mental equanimity(brilliance) about fitness coupled with their freshness of approach goes unmatched. They make it easy to join, no pushy sales, plethora of equipment, bright lights and cleanliness of the club speaks for itself. Checkout it out. And just for grins checkout Michael B. perfect white teeth at the front desk.
