Went here for my nieces 19th birthday. Place is very nice inside if you want to take nice pictures.
Our service was Yesenia she was and friendly.
Took our order didn’t come back to see if we wanted more water or drinks as we waited. Seemed as if she and another gentleman were the only servers.
All the food came out in separate times. My sister order the lobster pasta never came out. We all started eating as the food was starting to get cold. Mind you they sat us a group of 11 by the door where it smelled like poop.
The hostess was spraying febreze every so after to hide the smell.
I ordered the sliders meat was dry, no flavor at all the buns were hard.
My husband order the burger same.
My kids the fettuccine Alfred was flavorless.
We mentioned to the manager that my sister’s order did not come out and she wanted to cancel it as by that time we all had finished eating.
She was understand and comped my sisters meal.
This place is more like drinks and appetizers setting then dinner in my opinion.

I absolutely LOVE coming to Proabition DTLA. This place is soooo cute. Such a picture perfect place with their Alice in Wonderland theme. They even have a really sexy speak easy. The food is super delicious and our server Valeria was super knowledgeable about the entire menu and their cocktails as well. They have a cool “Beetlejuice” Halloween theme cocktail menu. I will definitely be back 💚❤️

This place is a 10/10!!!! From the food, to the drinks, to the atmosphere EVERYTHING was on point!!!! The chef is a young black woman, and she is doing her thang thang in the kitchen fa real. We had amazing drinks..something with lavender and fancy pictures on it....not sure what they were called. We had the Truffle fries, Brussel sprouts, chefs special steak, prawn pasta and the salmon EVERYTHING WAS 🔥🔥🔥

The ambience was great. The 2 bartenders that I interacted with were really nice. Both said that they were new, and working on some kinks as far as getting the bar operating functionally overall, really like the esthetic of the bar. I didn't know that the tip was automatically included so I ended up tipping twice, when the drinks are 20 dollars, it's a bit pricey and should be informed that you've already tipped.

Nice hidden gem in downtown LA. The restaurant has amazing ambiance and aesthetics, they really did their thing with the decor. The staff was friendly. The drinks were strong and tasty. The food was deliciously fresh and well prepared, I had the steak tacos (probably best I’ve ever had).

This place is a vibe, definitely would be one of my choices for a Sunday brunch, day club type of scene. The food was actually pretty decent. $40 dollars for 90 minutes bottomless mimosas.
The place is kinda hidden but I think definitely worth it.

Miss Megan (Somegnificent)

Low-light, wonderfully decorated bar and restaurant perfect for dates and gathering with small groups. They have a "secret" bar downstairs, but it is only open on certain days of the week. The food is just okay and doesn't match the hype of the decor. The drinks are good but overpriced. A $25 upcharge for calling my spirit in a cocktail? That's crazy.

Lastly, this place charges a cover fee. $15 per person or it is a minimum of $100 food/beverage spending for sitting at the tables. This turns out to be a scam because the menu is priced to put you out at around $100.

Midnight Thoughts

Ambiance of the restaurant is 4 stars! This review is mainly about the ROACHES that decided to come out and enjoy the drinks and music at the downstairs speakeasy.

Long story short after eating dinner in the restaurant(Food 2 stars) we decided to go downstairs to have a drink in the speakeasy. Noone was down there when we entered except the bartender. The fact it was empty on a weekend night should have been a sign. Anyhoo we ended up leaving without finishing our drink because 2 sips in we started being harassed by ROACHES. They were crawling by out feet, on the table our drinks were sitting on. After my date stepped on two, I looked over and saw one trying to crawl up the bar. I was done! Couldn't get out of there fast enough. Safe to say I won't be back! I almost thinking about them probably being in the kitchen as well. I've been going back and forth on whether I should call the health dept or not.
