Das Hotel heist jetzt Salvatores Grand Hotel. Wir haben hier 2 Nächte verbracht, auf unserer Reise zu den Niagara Fällen. Wir waren bei der Buchung etwas unsicher, da das Hotel keiner der großen Ketten angehört. Doch bereits in der Lobby und spätestens auf dem Zimmer stellte sich die Entscheidung als richtig heraus. Vergessen Se die teuren Hotels in Niagara Falls, und in Buffalo ( die Innenstadt kann man vergessen), und übernachten Sie hier. Der Service und die Ausstattung des Hotels sind erstklassig. Die Zimmer sind groß und modern ausgestattet. Der Zimmerservice ist vorbildlich und diskret. Der Zimmerpreise ist mehr als angemessen. Obendrauf gibt es noch ein kostenloses Frühstücksbüffet vom Feinsten. Der Chef Salvatore achtet persönlich darauf, das jeder Gast sofort einen freien Tisch bekommt. Das Restaurant des Hotels wurde mehrfach ausgezeichnet, und ist das #1 Steakhouse von Buffalo. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche andere Restaurants (falls sie kein Steak mögen) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.|Neben dem Hotelparkplatz ist eine kleine Baustelle, die uns aber nicht wirklich gestört hat.|100%ige Weiterempfehlung !!! Preis/Leistung hervorragend, mehr geht nicht.

Briefly I had special guests come from the Philippines and wanted to treat them to one of WNY’s finest hotels. Unfortunately it turned out to be the worse decision. Here’s why:
1. I paid for one high end suite and was reassigned to a room with a running toilet for six nights.
2. The lighting was dark.
3. The carpet soiled.
4. The sofa had stuffing coming out.
5. The room overall appearance is by all standards unacceptable.
6. Wall switch had exposed wires.
7. For the six days I complained about the running toilet with absolutely no action.
8. Front desk people playing the shell game with visitors for paid reservations.
9. Hallways dirty and worn out carpeting.
10. I have to honestly think the management is running this place to the ground. No investment for improvements.
11. For the high pricing there is absolutely no free breakfast.
12. I did contact the hotel management but received a general response.
13. Think twice. Check out the rooms before you pay.
14. Parking lot very dark. Poor lighting.

TITLE : Lipstick on a PIG;|From the outside and the entrance / photos makes it look fabulous.. and that part is,| " that's the lipstick " now for the rest of the hotel... everything is worn out, once you leave these areas THINGS CHANGE, from the extremely dirty rugs, to the worn out furniture. everything leading to the room looks very weathered. once in the room it got worse. We had paid $300.00 for a suite. should of of been $99.00. there was nothing redeeming about it. even the huge walk in shower, no shelf's to place soap or shampoo, had to leave it on the floor of the shower. The TV was a joke. it would jump stations all by itself. the hot tub in the room was also a joke. Now the bed needed to be replaced about 10 years ago. |so if you want to waste your money stay here... |p/s... THERE WASN'T EVEN A CLOCK IN THE ROOM.. CHEAP , CHEAP, CHEAP. | |ONE GOOD COMMENT, THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT.

I loved my stay here so much. This place is over the top gaudy and I love it! Large chandelier and intricate decor as you walk in and throughout the main common areas. Including a large saltwater tank with beautiful fish (quite social, please say hi they love it) and many statues.
A voucher was given to me for breakfast at their little take out window. The egg and sausage croissant was yummy.
The room was spacious and clean with a large, comfy bed.
I checked in for one night and stayed for three. Reluctantly leaving to continue on my trip, I felt refreshed and happy with all of my experiences in Buffalo.

The last time I was here was in 2018 and the hotel was in a lot better condition than this hotel has went down tremendously for one I got the honeymoon suite. The fireplace was not working the Jacuzzi was dirty The room was cold and then the side door that you can go out to your car it’s just open to the public because the key fob is broken so anyone can just walk in seems like since Mr. Russell doesn’t run it anymore. It went straight Hill. His hotel. Next door is excellent The hotel is cleaner. The rooms are always maculate This will be my last time here.

Outdated rooms. Jacuzzi was gross. Beds uncomfortable and loud, sheets felt scratchy. Drama in hallways all night? People yelling and swearing, pounding on doors. No enforcement of rules. Could hear everything in other room. Room had odor. Shower curtains just leaked water all over floors. Front desk service was average but not super friendly or anything. Did not feel like it was worth the price.

People at front desk checked me in incorrectly in my first stay here because they don’t know how to train new hires apparently , the second time around I was charged an extra 150 dollars onto of the 179.99 dollar room because they were “busy” and that’s “just what we do when we have a high number of people staying” then when I try to go ahead and cancel my reservation they try to say that I can’t because I didn’t cancel within 24 hours (hadn’t even had the reservation for 12 hrs) but I was only canceling because of their incompetent neglect anyways and was forced to pay a 100 dollar cancellation fee after the woman at the front desk tried to say the fee was 30 percent , any one who can do basic math can figure out 30 percent of 170 is not 100 and they continued to just ramble about different policies. On top of all that the ceiling was leaking right outside of the emperor suite I stayed in the whole time I was there the fire place did not work any of the 3 times I stayed here and the jacuzzi always has an issue
Seems like they need to take their jobs more seriously there

I stayed here New Years Eve, after booking a room somewhat last minute. When I arrived at 12:30 at the hotel, I was notified by the front desk staff that our room had already been rented out to another person, under my name. I'd booked the room MAYBE an hour before. Apparently, whoever had checked them never checked their ID. Never checked my ID either m

I was notified by the front desk staff that there were rooms available that hadn't been checked into, but she herself didn't have the privileges to override the other reservations and accommodate us, so we'd have to wait for a supervisor.

About an hour later, a supervisor arrived after completing an airport shuttle run. Easily enough, we were able to get a room once the supervisor arrived.

The room we were given (239) was definitely not worth the $200+ we spent. The wallpaper was peeling, like literally everywhere. There were obvious stains on the sheets, the cover to the heating/AC unit was missing and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and nothing seemed to match the pictures on their website or Google.

My mistake for not reading the reviews, but I could have stayed at Motel 6 or some cheap motel and had a better experience.
