This review is regarding Summit's Birthday Package. We got the Build-A-Buddy package that included pizza, cake, decorations and a party coordinator on hand. Everything was very well organized and Christian, the coordinator, was helpful and attentive the entire time. The kids had a blast stuffing their own Buddies. Bonus, the pizza was from Sammy's and the ice cream cake is from Caravel. I highly recommend!

Today was my first time here . I came for a swim . The workout area was a mess . A bit crammed and chaotic . I went to use the Smith machine it didn't easily glide . So that was pointless . The pool area is very nice. Not overwhelmed with chlorine , I didn't see piles of dirt in the corners like the Romulus center had . Locker rooms are very clean and unkept . Pool was empty . A few people trying to do laps . Only two lanes but hey it's a pool . Take what you can get .

Kid Corner at Summit on the Park is the best place for kids. Avery, Maryam, Kathy, and Deedra have made it exceptional with their creativity and energy, introducing new and exciting activities that the children absolutely love. Their ability to engage with each child and make them feel special is truly remarkable. The dedication and enthusiasm they bring to their work have significantly contributed to the happiness and development of the children. I highly commend their efforts and believe they make Kid Corner an outstanding environment for kids to learn, play, and grow. Their contributions are invaluable to the community.

Great to have in the area. Very cool indoor swim area. Love that they have multiple lifeguards and they’re very attentive. Staff is really nice and helpful and facilities are clean.

My friend and I were looking for a place to swim laps. I wish I would have read the reviews before driving out of our way. The lap swim was advertised from 6-8pm and we called in advance to make sure the website was correct. What was made available to us was two lanes for several adults (5 or more) and a few kids trying to swim laps and a lane used for swim lessons. After the lifeguards were bringing kids in the lesson lane to do swim tests, disrupting the woman trying to do lessons, the lessons then took over one of the two lanes we were given to swim. We finally decided to get out and go to the lazy river where we were told we couldn’t get in without one of the supplied tubes. All of the tubes were taken. We waited until one’s were available and then noticed people swimming in the river without tubes. Children were also running around the pool deck. We asked a patron if it was always this chaotic and they said “unfortunately”. There should be more organization, set rules, and communication between lessons and lifeguards and patrons.

Don't use the pool!
I was told by my Dr to use a pool due to my back issues. But wow this pool is really really dirty.
People are coming inside the pool with outside clothes, without taking a shower and jump in the water.
I have seen people walk inside the pool with outside shoes.

The rules exists and written on the walls but no one enforcing them. The smell of chemicals is a lot and sink in to your skin for days, which means lack of chlorine due to the amount of sweat and urine exist in the water. I am writing this since I've complained and no one taking any
action. I used the pool 3 times and got a horrible skin infection. I didn't have this before using this pool ever.

It's fun to bring the kids here to swim for open swim hours, when everything is open. The open swim window is very limited. The waterslide is often not working. The steam room was not open. The locker rooms were clean with plenty off lockers available. It was very crowded. It's one of the only indoor public pools around, so if you want to go swimming it's ok as an option.
