I brought my rescue pup for her first session and it was amazing! She has always loved swimming but she is a very shy and nervous dog with new people and places so I wasn’t quite sure how she would handle a new place with a new person swimming with her instead of myself. Laurie made her feel so comfortable and confident by letting her warm up to the facility and herself at her own pace and didn’t rush or push anything which is exactly what she needs. I 100% recommend them to anyone searching for a swimming option for their pup she really makes sure to take the time to let the dogs enter the pool at their own pace! Will definitely be bringing my girl back for more sessions.

This has been the best experience for my dog, Dylan! It’s built his confidence and he’s having a lot of fun. Me too! Laurie is amazing, and Dylan absolutely loves her. ❤️ She took it as slow as he needed at first, and then when he was feeling more confident, she let him spread his wings. Absolutely wonderful!

I can’t tell you how much joy it brings me to give my 10 year old pup (who has had cancer since he was 3) the opportunity to learn something new that is easier on his body. And his happiness way surpasses mine!

Laurie is a dream with my big ole sloppy swimmer, lol, and she obviously loves the work she does. I highly, *highly* recommend The Doggie Paddle.

We adopted our dog, Sophie, back in February. She is an older dog and has some arthritis as well as hip dysplasia. We started taking her to The Doggie Paddle a few months ago to help. I can't say enough good things about Laurie. She truly cares about Sophie's wellbeing! She has been so patient while Sophie gets used to the whole swimming thing. She's getting more comfortable now and I know it's helping - both with her arthritis as well as her overall fitness. We will continue with our visits to The Doggie Paddle and would recommend Laurie to anyone with a dog - whether for assisted swims to help with mobility issues - or for unassisted swims just for exercise. Laurie and The Doggie Paddle are the best. Thank you for everything!

We loved The Doggie Paddle! Laurie did a wonderful job working with our 1.5 year old Shiba Inu. At first he was very hesitant and we weren’t entirely sure he could swim. Laurie was very patient and worked with him to make him comfortable in the water. After a few lessons he really enjoyed swimming and eventually started getting in the water without any assistance! The facility was very clean, professional and dog centered! We would recommend to anyone who isn’t sure about their dogs swimming capabilities and wants a safe/clean space to let their dog “test the water” (pun intended).

Laurie, Ron and Jean are wonderful and so caring!! Our dog injured his back and I found The Doggy Paddle to strengthen his back and core. He is getting stronger after every visit. We are thrilled that he will avoid surgery! Our vet is amazed at his improvement so far. Thank Doggie Paddle!

Laurie is exceptional! Our Cane Corso, who typically experiences a lot of fear and anxiety, usually doesn't warm up to strangers easily. However, our Nala bonded with Laurie almost instantly and now LOVES swimming! Witnessing our fur baby grow more confident after just four swimming sessions has been a wonderful experience. We absolutely love The Doggie Paddle and can't wait to come back for more fun!
