It's a pool. The water is cool. Not cold. Not warm. Just cool. Half of it is shallow water with a floating "obstacle course", which the kids seem to enjoy. The other half is just standard swim lanes. Overall, it's no different from your typical public swimming pool. Not really worth the cost of going IMO.

Cute indoor pool with obstacle course for kids. Very happy to learn the Plunge was close to everything. This is my second visit to the belmont/mission beach area.
The facility was very clean. The workers were friendly with recommendations for places to eat and everyone was on task. Looks like a locals heaven from an outsiders perspective. Very happy to have found this place for my kids to enjoy.

Love this place! Only wish is that lap swimming hours lasted until 8pm mid week. FIT members can swim after pool hours, but plunge pool members cannot. The pool can get quite busy and many times only three lap lanes are open because all of the rest are closed due to plunge swim programs. Also women’s lockers room showers are always cold for me and take like 2 minutes to warm up to almost room temperature, but typically never actually get warm- or they get warm but die out after 30 seconds.

Still I absolutely love this place, the inside vibe is cool and they do a great job keeping the pool clean.

The Plunge is amazing, we couldn’t pick a better venue for my son’s 8th birthday.
The whole staff especially Kylee, Jacob, Jordan and Sam were very friendly and very accommodating, our event coordinator Jordan was always very helpful and guided us with any questions we had.
The food was delicious and on time, the table setup was perfect with access to the pool. Lifeguards are on duty so it’s a place to have fun and enjoy!
If you are looking for a venue for your next pool party or birthday, give them a call. Jordan and his staff will be more than happy to show you this fun place. My son had such a memorable birthday and the gift from The Plunge only added magic to the day. The 3D is beyond amazing! ? thank you for everything!!

We had such a great experience at the plunge. Mike did such a great job, welcoming us in our party. The staff was very friendly. The adults and the kids had a wonderful time. What a success!

Best summer camp and day camp in San Diego! Where else can your kids spend the day at an amusement park and a pool right on the beach? Sam is an amazing organizer and leader for the Plunge camp program. She’s a great communicator with parents and my kids absolutely love her. My kids always look forward to going to Plunge and never want to leave when I go to pick them up!

Great staff and location! I bring my kids here regularly for swimming lessons and I cannot say good thing enough about the venue and the staff. Very professional and always with a smile, they made my day last week when I brought my kids for a make up session the wrong day and thanks to Ian and Megan they made it happen anyway. Thank you guys, really appreciate it!!!! My kids too!!!!

The Plunge is an amazing family friendly indoor pool. It’s incredibly fun for the kids and parents. Darian, the manager/Mr. Do It All, that was running the check-in and also one of the lifeguards is a true gentleman and made our family time their the best. He is the best. All the young lifeguards are incredibly attentive and cautious to ensure the best safety for the kids. Your kids will have an incredible time and create great memories that will make them want to come back again and again. For the parents who want to just let their kids swim and have fun can just sit back and have a snack or appetizer and drinks, they can even have a cocktail or beer. There is so much to do that time flies.
