I play Dodgeball here. The gymnasium is great. Changing rooms are ok. The showers are nasty.

I love it! Great place for a exercise. You can use the computer and meet some good people, however; it is true also be prepared to see homeless folks just there for a shower. The gym equipment way out dated. I gave it a 4 and a half

The city is considering demolition of this Rec center after having let it sit closed for 5 years without renovations. Really sad 🙁

Good place to workout if you live in the area. It's a city gym and it has reasonable pricing. Clean and well kept. Nice weight room. There is a CULTURE at this gym and you need to make sure you understand it. Keep in mind the neighborhood. That is all I will say.

The pool is not overloaded, nice workout but limited resources, few computers, close computers at 3pm and the showers run for short periods and are cold to lukewarm. I prefer warmer showers.

It's clean and tranquil if you don't mind the shortcomings listed. Best communal pool in town and friendly staff

John the Chief lifeguard is a true Legend ... He's been there for more than 30 yrs .. clean pool and bathrooms and showers.the pool security and staff are very nice. Don't like the fact that men jump in the showers naked for long periods of time... They should know better for the simple fact that kids attend this family pool... I feel these individuals should go to an all men spa and try their luck there ... Disgusting to say the least. My family and friends from the neighborhood attended this pool since babies... Showers should be with your swim trunks on .. no need for total nakedness .. go to toilet stalls and change there if u need to be totally naked.

Love this place to get my lap swimming on. There are usually less people in the evening so it makes lap swimming pleasant. Decent size pool, 20 or 25 meters I think... spacious locker room and close to 2 subways.

Decent facilities, best for socializing. Most people just go there for that. Lines can form at machines during peak hours, chatting will pass the time. Events are great and staff is friendly. Definitely not the cleanest gym, but far from unclean.
