If you have young kids this is the place for you. I sort water park, similar to heat wolf lodge. Great Olympic swimming pool for laps and swim meets. Multiple birthday party rooms. In the summer great pit door playground, climbing equipment, soccer fields and trails. The gym inside is lacking for anyone but the most casual workout. A bit of investment in a real gym would go along way to make this an all around destination for families.

I absolutely love this place for my kids!! And myself, for that matter!! There's an adult "playground" workout area right next to their amazingly huge and intricate playground for the kids. They also have an amazing and diverse indoor aquatics center attached. Can't wait to go next time!!

Great outdoor park. Lots of soccer fields and an outdoor hockey rink. Playground is unique with many things to do and climb on. Fun Rockwall and classic swings and see saw. Really great place for an hour late in the afternoon with kids.

The skatepark needs a full reno and they need to do a all concrete park. Thus one is destroyed and molested after all these years time for a new and remodeled one. Kids would actually have something to do other than living under a damn rock. It's to get kids and adults outside yet it's destroyed the only things nice that are worth it is the ledges and round rail. The concrete is lethal. There's nothing around here for people that want to bike, scooter and skate other than this one and others that are too far away. It's right by a highschool get these kiddos outside fresh out of school maybe they'd look forward to going to class so they can shred it after!!!!

Went to the waterpark and playground with the kids. Walk in kids play pool with slides and fountains, small lazy river, and huge slide for bigger kids 4'and up. They had a blast.
The ramp going into the kids pool is slick. I slipped and fell! My friend sprained her ankle on it, too! Staff is super up tight about being right on your little ones in the pool and holding onto the wall in the last river. Lots of whistles blown. Not a lot of seating.

So we have used this place a bunch via the indoor pool, soccer fields, and playground but I heard they had swim lessons so I decided to check it out with my 3.5 year old. Let me tell you, I was a little concerned about the pricing because it seemed a little steep (we signed up for 10 sessions for $300 1 on 1)…but I was blown away by the service. It was worth every penny! The swim instructor, Suzanne, was unbelievable! She kept my little man busy the entire time limit and went above and beyond making sure he understood the concepts she was teaching. Suzanne, was patient, kind, and stayed right along side my little man the whole time. She was in the pool, demonstrated exactly what she wanted him to do, then he did it. She had props and toys that made the session more fun. Afterwards she told me the things to work on with him going forward. Suzanne also communicated her schedule and made sure I knew when she was available for next session. I 1000% recommend swim lessons at the WARF!! I’m so excited for our next class with Suzanne!

Very minimal food options, it’s only vending machines. No cafe or bodega. The leisure/lazy river/whirlpool area was very dirty, there are tiles with grout and grime, the ground of the pool is so dirty and full of scum it is slippery as in you will literally fall walking in, the slide is rusty on the underside and there were bugs on the middle area where one of the beams come from the slide. The family locker room area seems very unsanitary and mold/mildewy. The competition side is however very clean and very nice they also have a open piece to that for people who enjoy swimming without the leisure side. Overall for the price, you can’t complain. I think for the county to own it though it does need to drain the pool and scrub/clean it very well. For a county building its kinda disappointing that its run this way.

Wonderful time! We met family here 1/2 way between NoVA and Charlottesville. Perfect place! Kids played happily for hours in the lazy river and splash pad area. Ample family bathrooms and changing rooms. Clean, bright facility. Fun playground outside also. Lots of picnic tables. The only thing to note is that the lazy river is closed during “H2O Walking” and the splash pad water turns off but doesn’t close. We went to the playground until the lazy river reopened. You might to call to double check hours.
